Requirements
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Five years of accounting experience, including general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, with assistive equipment or a two-person lift required for heavier lifting.
  • Ability to stand for up to eight hours when required.
  • Ability to perform close visual work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through speech.
  • Ability to remain awake and alert during working hours when applicable.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare journal entries, reconcile bank and general ledger accounts, support month-end and year-end close, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure accounting transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Prepare financial reports, supporting schedules, audit documentation, and fixed asset reconciliations; assist with budgeting and financial analysis; and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, and other accounting functions while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate Finance Department calendars, meetings, correspondence, reports, presentations, document management, invoices, purchase requests, expense reports, and departmental resources.
  • Coordinate communication with internal and external stakeholders, track department projects and deadlines, assist with audits and special projects, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
