  • A bachelor's degree in Aviation, Hospitality, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Six to eight years of experience in a customer-facing environment.

  • Authorization to work in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with customers well before aircraft delivery on travel and accommodation plans, including hotel and rental-car bookings.
  • Prepare and arrange customers' office assignments, IT and Wi-Fi access, parking passes, and required services during their stay at the Delivery Center.
  • Establish site clearances with Security functions for customer and visitor check-in, and distribute customer arrival notifications to applicable Airbus Mobile departments.
  • Provide customers with a safety briefing and required paperwork on arrival, and ensure health and safety obligations are followed.
  • Prepare and distribute the Delivery Information Sheet (CDT) to customers and internal organizations in a timely manner.
  • Support collection of pilot CAF information for TSA clearance for the dispatch team.
  • Attend the customer welcome meeting on the first day of delivery and host the customer delivery team onsite through the ferry flight's final departure.
  • Plan and coordinate customer lunches according to the weekly delivery schedule.
  • Support the Transfer of Title process when needed.
  • Organize and coordinate special events for VIP visitors or customers when requested.
  • Arrange with the customer or operator all details Airbus needs to prepare for the ferry flight departure.
  • Conduct a Ferry Flight Meeting with the customer or operator, Dispatch Office, and required Airbus departments at the start of customer ground checks to arrange departure and subsequent flight routing.
  • When departures are delayed, communicate with affected organizations and coordinate new departure slots.
  • Coordinate catering, fueling, aircraft servicing, and pushback with involved departments in a timely manner.
  • Support customer fueling requirements for departure, including adherence to the SAF process.
  • At the scheduled ferry-flight time, prepare the General Declaration and Passenger, Cargo, and Aircraft Manifests, and ensure timely crew and passenger passport and visa control when applicable.
  • Release aircraft departure messages to internal and external organizations after departure and provide standby services until take-off.
  • Escalate customer-related Facilities or IT issues by reporting them to the Customer Support Representative so tickets can be created.
  • Participate in the Global X-Site Customer Experience Project.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and proper order of customer facilities in the delivery center, including offices and customer lobbies.
  • When required, support functions within AACCL's scope of activities.
  • Maintain awareness of potential compliance risks and act with integrity.
Desired Qualifications
  • Proficiency in a second language, such as Spanish, French, or German.
  • G-Suite experience.
  • Previous aviation experience.

Airbus A350F freighter completes maiden flight with 4.3m cargo door for servers

Airbus has successfully completed the first flight of its A350F freighter, bringing the aerospace giant closer to delivering a high-capacity cargo aircraft. The plane took off from Airbus headquarters in Toulouse, France, flying for four hours and ten minutes and reaching 25,000 feet. The A350F can carry a payload of 109 tonnes, compared to 64 tonnes for the existing A330F. It features a 4.3-metre cargo door large enough to accommodate turbofan engines and high-density computer servers. Airbus claims the A350F is more efficient than Boeing's rival 777F, despite having slightly less capacity. The company has already received orders for 115 A350Fs. A second test aircraft is nearly complete as Airbus begins the certification process requiring hundreds of test flights.

Airbus and Qantas back $30M funding for Australian SAF developer Jet Zero

Jet Zero Australia has raised $30 million to advance Project Ulysses, a commercial-scale sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel refinery in Townsville. The funding round was backed by institutional investors including Qantas and Airbus, both returning investors from 2023. South Korean company Posco International joined as a new strategic investor, with the parties exploring opportunities in fuel offtake, infrastructure and feedstock. The capital will fund completion of Front-End Engineering Design and support the project's progress towards Final Investment Decision and construction. Founded in 2021 by Ed Mason, Jet Zero develops biofuels production capacity in regional Australia. The project has received its final Development Permit Decision Notice from Queensland's Office of the Coordinator-General. It is expected to create approximately 1,000 construction jobs and 100 permanent operational roles.

Airbus shelves stricter office return plan after Spanish union strikes

Airbus has postponed its plan to reduce remote working after strikes by Spanish unions, Reuters reports. The aerospace manufacturer will allow employees to continue working from home an average of two days per week, shelving indefinitely a push to limit remote work to one day. Chief Executive Guillaume Faury had sought to require white-collar staff on-site four days weekly by September, citing the need for knowledge transfer. Spanish unions said roughly 40% of Airbus's 14,000 Spanish employees have walked out over remote work policies, transport, leave and wages. An Airbus spokesperson said the company would implement the transition "more gradually" based on employee feedback. French unions estimate a quarter to a third of Airbus's workforce has been hired in the past three years. Aircraft production has not been affected by the disruptions.
