Requirements
  • Must be willing to take a company-provided tuberculosis test if they do not already have one.
  • Must be able to safely lift 75 pounds and pass a physical test.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle insurance because some travel is required.
  • Must have current cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid certificates, or complete the offered training.
  • Must successfully pass a background screening.
Responsibilities
  • Travel to members’ residences to provide in-home services.
  • Assist members with maintaining cleanliness and safety in their homes.
  • Provide standby or full assistance with making beds, cooking meals, bathing, toileting, and dressing or undressing members.
  • Observe and track changes in members’ conditions.
  • Provide day-to-day care in accordance with professional standards, company policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local guidelines.
  • Interact with members and evaluate circumstances, offering solutions when members become distressed.
  • Implement written company procedures, guidelines, and resource tools, and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Maintain member confidentiality and do not discuss identifying information outside the company.
  • Handle member needs and administrative duties in both field and office settings.
