Requirements

  • Secondary school education is required.
  • Basic proficiency with Office is required.
  • At least one year of experience in similar positions is required.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts: 6 AM–2 PM, 2 PM–10 PM, and 10 PM–6 AM, with one rotating day off per week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide security for workers, visitors, and company property through strict access controls, inspections, and patrols to identify risks and report them to the appropriate areas.
  • Perform activities specified in the document, internal procedures, O-I Mexico protection-system standards, policies, and other applicable protection-department requirements.
  • Control pedestrian and vehicle entry and exit, verifying prior authorization and confirming that visitors and personnel are identified with the badge corresponding to the area they are visiting.
  • Physically inspect vehicles belonging to carriers, suppliers, contractors, and workers to prevent entry by people under the influence or carrying drugs, firearms, or other physical or chemical hazards that could endanger workers or company facilities.
  • Inspect vehicles, backpacks, bags, and packages as personnel enter and leave, following procedure.
  • Ensure each visitor is entered in the appropriate log and receives an identification badge for the area being visited.
  • Report anomalies, incidents, and risks found during plant patrols to the shift supervisor and document them with photographs.
  • Receive incoming calls and route them to the appropriate areas.
  • Receive incoming packages and deliver them to the general warehouse after recording them on the required forms.
  • Update and properly file documents used to control employee entries and exits, according to lists provided by Human Resources, as well as tool records, warehouse releases, and shipping documents; verify that document information matches the materials.
