  • Working knowledge of digital advertising or streaming media workflows, with exposure to areas such as ad serving, ad decisioning, dynamic ad insertion, programmatic advertising, measurement, content distribution, or playback.
  • Experience translating business needs into structured requirements, process flows, technical documentation, test cases, or implementation plans.
  • Experience coordinating work across technical and business stakeholders and maintaining clear ownership, decisions, risks, dependencies, and follow-up actions.
  • Demonstrated technical, quantitative, or analytical skills and the ability to investigate issues methodically and communicate findings clearly.
  • Ability to use artificial intelligence-assisted productivity tools thoughtfully for research, analysis, drafting, or workflow support, with sound judgment to verify outputs, recognize limitations, and protect sensitive information.
  • Detailed and proactive approach to solving problems.
Responsibilities
  • Support the design and implementation of solutions across NBCUniversal’s advertising technology ecosystem, including gathering integration requirements and coordinating with Product Owners, Engineering, Architecture, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Integration stakeholders.
  • Document and help define technical requirements for new digital advertising features through collaboration with end-to-end architecture and integration stakeholders.
  • Support integration workstreams from discovery through launch, including scope definition, interface and data-flow mapping, dependency tracking, risk identification, milestone coordination, and operational readiness.
  • Assist with onboarding new advertising features, platforms, and partners by documenting technical capabilities, limitations, dependencies, open questions, and risks, and aligning implementation details to business requirements and user stories.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, Quality Assurance flows, validation checklists, acceptance criteria, and certification processes for new advertising features and integrations.
  • Build working knowledge across server-side ad insertion, server-guided ad insertion, client-side ad insertion, ad serving and decisioning systems, programmatic integrations, metadata ingestion, measurement, and video-on-demand, linear, and live advertising workflows across web, mobile, and connected television streaming products.
  • Coordinate day-to-day integration activities for assigned workstreams, including organizing technical discussions, capturing decisions, tracking issues and owners, escalating blockers, and communicating status and next steps.
  • Assist with technical troubleshooting by reviewing logs, ad requests and responses, identifiers, metadata, configuration, and observed behavior, and partner with subject-matter experts to isolate failure points and drive resolution.
  • Support launch-readiness reviews, implementation and rollback planning, production validation, stakeholder communications, post-launch monitoring, and handoff to operational teams.
  • Create and maintain integration guides, architecture and process diagrams, decision records, known limitations, runbooks, and reusable technical documentation.
  • Use approved artificial intelligence-assisted tools to accelerate requirements analysis, technical research, documentation, test-case development, issue triage, and synthesis of technical evidence, while independently validating outputs before use in decisions or delivery.
  • Help identify repeatable integration tasks suitable for artificial intelligence-enabled automation, contribute domain knowledge and feedback to improve those workflows, and document where human review, escalation, or subject-matter expertise remains required.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify integrations, improve repeatability, strengthen quality controls, reduce manual effort, and improve operational support.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Interactive Advertising Bureau specifications and advertising concepts such as Video Ad Serving Template, Video Multiple Ad Playlist, Open Real-Time Bidding, Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers 35, SIMID, or related video advertising standards.
  • Experience in television or broadcast, media, content distribution, or technology with exposure to ad servers, decisioning platforms, stitchers, players, or measurement systems.
  • Exposure to application programming interface-based integrations, JavaScript Object Notation or Extensible Markup Language, log analysis, request and response troubleshooting, or technical configuration management.
  • Experience supporting web, mobile, connected television, video-on-demand, live, or linear advertising workflows.
  • Experience developing test plans, supporting certification, coordinating release readiness, or validating production launches.
  • Experience using generative artificial intelligence, copilots, agents, or automation tools to support technical analysis, knowledge management, documentation, testing, or operational workflows.
  • Interest in helping develop and improve artificial intelligence-ready documentation, reusable knowledge, prompts, evaluation criteria, or workflow instructions for integration use cases.
