Intapp announces re-architected Compliance and Time solutions, with Intapp Celeste at the core. New, agent-first solutions - Compliance with Celeste and Time with Celeste - bring agentic AI that knows how the firm works to the workflows behind profitable, compliant growth, from business acceptance and client risk management to timekeeping and revenue governance PALO ALTO, Calif. - August 19, 2026 - Intapp (NASDAQ: INTA), the governed AI platform for professional firms in highly regulated industries, today announced the availability of Compliance with Celeste and Time with Celeste - its Compliance and Time solutions re-architected with Intapp Celeste and agentic workflows at their core. Available to firms through a new entitlement, these solutions bring the agentic capabilities of Celeste into the client acceptance, risk, and revenue processes law firms and other professional firms run in Intapp Intake, Conflicts, Terms, and Time. They handle the repetitive parts of that work so people can focus their time on work that requires human judgment. AI is changing the economics of law firms and other professional firms by squeezing them in two directions at once. On the risk side, growth through M&A, consolidation, and lateral moves makes onboarding new business and managing risk increasingly complex. The volume of forms, searches, and obligation checks required to support that growth can quickly outpace the capacity of expert teams, whose expertise is scarce and takes years to develop. When highly skilled professionals spend too much time on repetitive tasks instead of judgment, firms face a difficult trade-off between moving intake forward quickly and maintaining rigorous risk management. Revenue is the other side of the equation. As AI helps people work faster, the billable hour - the backbone of most firm revenue - comes under pressure. Clients increasingly expect pricing that reflects those efficiencies, and firms will need room to experiment with new fee structures to deliver it. This experimentation will only work with the right data and insights behind it. Without visibility into how AI-assisted work and other hours add up at the matter level, firms lack the insight needed to make critical decisions about what to scope, what to charge, who to staff, and where to invest in AI. Compliance with Celeste and Time with Celeste meet both pressures head-on, bringing agentic AI directly into these workflows using each firm's own data and rules. How Celeste helps Compliance Inside Intake, Conflicts, and Terms, Celeste takes on the repetitive parts of intake and risk work so experts can get to the analysis and judgment. * Faster, cleaner intake. Celeste fills in request forms using information from the emails people already share, then flags missing or incomplete data before anything gets submitted. * The busywork behind each decision, handled. Celeste builds the search strategy, maps corporate trees, runs the searches, and triages what comes back for expert review. * Client obligations that don't slip. Celeste reads outside counsel guidelines, matches them to the right client, pulls out key terms, and files the attributes that matter. * Answers right where you work. Ask Celeste a question or kick off a playbook from a prompt inside Intake, Conflicts, Terms, or directly in Outlook. How Celeste helps Time Inside Time, Celeste captures hours that would otherwise be lost, helps prevent revenue leakage, and gives firms a clearer view of what each matter is actually worth. * Time entries ready to bill. Celeste drafts complete entries from the work it already sees and fills in the gaps. * Revenue governance without the manual work. With agentic time entry, Celeste writes each narrative for you and can rewrite the ones you enter yourself. Both stay compliant with outside counsel guidelines and firm style. * Block-billing, caught early. When an entry breaks the rules, Celeste flags it and helps you either split it or rewrite the narrative. * Analytics that connect the dots. Celeste pulls together work activity, billing rules, and financial data to show what's driving realization, matter economics, utilization, and AI tool performance. These solutions mark Intapp's shift to an agent-first platform. Intake, Conflicts, Terms, and Time no longer just support human-led work; Celeste now carries that work forward with people stepping in where judgment matters most. Each solution runs on the same foundation of structured data, agentic workflows, systems of record, context, and guardrails, which is what lets Celeste do real work inside regulated processes. Intapp calls this approach Firm AI - agentic AI applied to the business of the firm itself, not just to individual tasks or work products. Availability Firms already running their business acceptance, time, and billing with Intapp can upgrade to the new agentic AI offerings. Once the new entitlement is activated, the new capabilities will be available in their existing environments. To see them in action, firms can book a demo or talk to their Intapp account team at intapp.com. Supporting quotes Thad Jampol, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, Intapp "Intapp is now agent-first. We've re-architected our Compliance and Time solutions with Celeste and agentic workflows at their core, so the agents, the data they run on, and the compliance guardrails all come from one place. Pulling that together is the hard part, and it's the part no one else has done. That's what makes Compliance with Celeste and Time with Celeste real for firms - the agents do meaningful work inside regulated processes, on each firm's own data and under its own rules." Katherine Lowry, Chief Information Officer and Head of IncuBaker, BakerHostetler "There is really no true beginning or end to a workday in a law firm. Knowing that Celeste is there all the time is key. We believe that Celeste can have a very positive impact on our intake and conflicts process. Celeste's cutting-edge AI capabilities will help us responsibly take on matters and evaluate conflicts faster than ever before. At BakerHostetler, we have experienced tremendous lateral growth in recent years and as a result, have onboarded a significant number of important new clients and complex engagements. We believe that Celeste will help us operate more efficiently as we continue to grow." Intapp, a Nasdaq-listed software company serving law firms and professional services, launched its AI platform Celeste in July. The company was founded in the early 2000s after a patent attorney sought data integration tools for his firm. Unlike general AI assistants, Celeste focuses on permission-based information access. CEO John Hall explained the key difference: horizontal AI systems provide accurate answers, but users may lack authorisation to access that information within their firm. Intapp targets what Hall calls "large partnership firms" — law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, and consultancies — representing roughly $4 trillion in annual US revenue. The company never raised venture capital, securing its first outside funding through a 2021 IPO. The firm's two-decade focus on this sector has built what management considers a competitive advantage: accumulated client data and compliance infrastructure addressing permission controls across thousands of employees.
Intapp reported revenue of $152.53 million for the quarter ended June 2026, marking a 13% year-over-year increase. The company posted earnings per share of $0.41, up from $0.27 in the same period last year. Revenue exceeded the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $149.8 million by 1.83%. EPS surpassed expectations of $0.36 by 13.89%. Cloud annual recurring revenue reached $495.7 million, beating the analyst estimate of $482.31 million. Total ARR came in at $590.5 million, above the $577.95 million estimate. SaaS revenue grew 27.5% year-over-year to $114.95 million, whilst licence revenue declined 24.8% to $23.93 million. Shares of Intapp have risen 21% over the past month, outpacing the S&P 500's 1.7% gain.
Intapp reported strong fourth quarter and fiscal year 2026 results. The company's SaaS revenue reached $115.0 million in Q4, up 27% year-over-year, while total revenue hit $152.5 million, a 13% increase. For the full fiscal year, SaaS revenue totalled $422.8 million, up 27%, and total revenue reached $577.8 million, up 15%. Cloud ARR grew 29% to $495.7 million as of 30 June 2026. The company reported non-GAAP operating income of $34.3 million for Q4 and $108.6 million for the full year. Intapp served over 1,400 clients with contracts exceeding $50,000 ARR. During the fiscal year, Intapp repurchased 8.4 million shares for $275.2 million. The company announced Intapp Celeste, its agentic coworker for professional firms, advancing its AI strategy.
Intapp bets on 'firm AI' with general release of Celeste. * July 27, 2026 Intapp this month announced that its agentic 'AI coworker' Celeste, previewed in February, is now generally available. The listed company positions Celeste as part of a new category of 'firm AI', focused on improving law firm performance rather than individual lawyer productivity. Celeste sits in the business of law space that Intapp has operated in since its inception, helping firms with deal screening and conflicts clearance, to business development and lateral hiring. Speaking with Legal IT Insider, co-founder and chief product officer Thad Jampol said: "Every desk, every lawyer is using some form of AI. It's flooded the market. And I think it is having some beneficial effect that lawyers are drafting faster, they're reviewing documents faster, they're working on contracts faster, certainly more than they did a year ago or two years ago. But the question everyone's asking is, is the firm growing any faster? "For most of these organizations, the answer is not yet. And it's really because AI built for the practice makes individuals faster, but it's not converting into growth for the firm. So, the headline is that individual productivity is just not equal to firm productivity." Jampol says that almost every tool up to this point in the generative AI, agentic AI wave has been built for the individuals and not for the firm. He points out that there are three 'categories' of AI emerging: generalist assistant AI such as Claude or Copilot ("that we think every firm is going to have and is really good for everyday work"); then the practice of AI, such as Harvey and Legora (that "have had a lot of oxygen in the industry first wave"); and a third category that is firm AI for the business of law ("and no-one, almost no-one, is building that right now because it's the hard one to do.") Celeste focuses on core workflows or value chains that Jampol describes as "the beating heart of the firm as an organization." He says: "In a really interesting way, those key workflows have not changed over the years. Firms have to go win clients. They have to expand their relationship with those clients. They pursue laterals. They have to go through a lot of very onerous, ethical, financial, strategic steps to onboard those clients, upholding their duties of loyalty and their ethical obligations. They have to staff the team. They have to then go deliver the work, but also get time out and ensure that it is invoiced and collected. And that end-to-end client matter lifecycle, Legal Technology believe, still holds. "Now, it may begin to be re-engineered as from a process standpoint to really take advantage of the agents and the new technology. But we're really bringing, I think, a totally new set of capabilities to those same important workflows. A lot of the past technology generations, like if you think about when workflow and BPM came out and then like robotic process automation and RPA and there's a lot of these technologies that certainly helped and Intapp used, but a lot of times they worked around the real substance of the problem. They were really about the routing of information and then the approvals and the reporting of that and the audit logs. Now with AI and agents, we can really begin to solve more of the day-to-day decision-making and judgment part of the challenges that I think are really going to take this to a totally new level." It will appeal to firms that Intapp's pedigree is in Walls, and that Celeste enforces your guardrails. Jampol says that the market reaction to Celeste has been extremely positive, observing that, while everyone is talking about AI in the practice of law, "everyone has the same thing. Everyone is using the same models. It's kind of become table stakes. The firm isn't seeing an improvement in financial performance or competitive advantage." The ability to take processes such as bringing on lateral hires and use AI for vetting, conflicts checks and managing the integration is, Jampol says, "a really big needle mover." Another early use case is on the intake and conflict side. Jampol says: "It's the process that every firm has to do that stands between winning a client and then being able to start doing the work for them and billing for that time. And anything you can do to both shrink that as well as take off a lot of the onerous work that the partner themselves has to do instead of spending time with that client, they love it." Baker Hostetler is one of Intapp's Celeste launch clients. "That is the use case that they really grabbed onto," says Jampol. Hg is another named early adopter. Shirin Veeran, head of data, tech & AI strategy at Hg, says: "The intelligence is ours, not something generic applied to our firm. Celeste screens against our actual mandate, drawing on knowledge we have built across the firm over two decades. Having a clear, always-current view of deal progress and pipeline speed - without the usual reporting lift - is genuinely valuable to any deal team." In terms of whether this is a new category, Litera has long focused its AI developments on the business and practice of law and with its recent relaunch, undoubtedly focuses on the 'firm AI' category. As margins come under pressure, however, it's undeniable that there will be more focus, from different lenses, on firm-wide efficiency. Many law firms find that their business services resources are stretched, and anything that can truly enable them to augment overstretched teams is likely to prove attractive.
