Requirements
- An undergraduate college degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, or another discipline related to the project, or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible IT experience, including at least five years performing design and development duties.
- Experience planning, conducting, assigning, and monitoring system or application development in an iterative manner, including working with business partners to review prototypes and develop iterative revisions.
- Experience translating process flow analysis and business requirements into system design and development.
- Experience developing front ends using current technologies such as React JS.
- Experience with relational database backends and developing SQL scripts, views, triggers, and stored procedures.
- Experience implementing user authentication processes using Login.gov with IAL-1.
- Experience developing and implementing Extract, Transform, and Load processes to gather and load data from external sources.
- Experience with agile development methodology using tools such as Jira.
- Experience working in a Development Security Operations environment using tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
- Experience with test automation.
- Experience with security vulnerability scanning and remediation.
- Experience developing and maintaining applications while ensuring Section 508 accessibility compliance.
- Experience providing accurate estimates for design and programming efforts for system changes and enhancements based on business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the complex filing application or a similar solution end to end.
- Work with Product Owners and the IT Federal Project Manager to understand the functional and technical requirements of EFAST.
- Participate in and provide input on major design decisions.
- Work with Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, system owners, customers, and end users to understand their mission, current architecture, security requirements, and deliverables.
- Work with the team within an Agile framework to build a design that scales to meet evolving needs.
- Design and develop the system to establish standards for future development.
- Create an architecture that integrates with existing infrastructure without compromising security.
- Identify and introduce opportunities to build platform-based solutions to address users’ challenges.
