Requirements
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Successful completion of an approved U.S. residency training program approved by the Accrediting Council for Graduate Medical Education, the American Osteopathic Association, or an equivalent body.
  • Board eligible or board certified for OB/GYN practice in the State of Michigan.
  • National Resuscitation Program, Basic Life Support, and electronic fetal monitoring certifications.
  • Compliance with Munson Healthcare vaccination requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and influenza, unless an approved medical or religious exemption applies.
Responsibilities
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of Munson Healthcare.

  • Promote personal and patient safety.
  • Provide effective customer service and interpersonal interactions.
  • Work with Munson Otsego Memorial Hospital and its partners to provide quality care and promote community health.
  • Perform job duties safely using learned body mechanics and transferring and lifting techniques.
  • Plan actions that promote safety and report unsafe situations or equipment according to hospital procedures.
  • Maintain visibility within the community as a healthcare provider.
  • Serve as a role model to clinic staff, faculty, and the community.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Munson Healthcare is a nonprofit regional health system serving northern Michigan with eight community hospitals and a flagship Munson Medical Center.
