About the job
- Demonstrate competency and proficiency, following established protocols, in all radiographic examinations and equipment in the assigned work area, including proper patient positioning and selection of the appropriate image receptor and radiographic techniques.
- Identify each patient and review the patient’s requisition for consistency with the examination ordered.
- Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the radiologic procedure.
- Review the patient chart for examination referrals or orders, including special instructions in examination notes, appointment notes, or referral requests.
- Perform and maintain all quality assurance and quality control records required by the American College of Radiology, the State Department of Health Services, and other credentialing organizations as required by law.
- Graduation from a recognized, approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Certification as a Medical Radiological Technologist by the State Medical Board.
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator certification.
- Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with clinical personnel and patients and establish effective working relationships.

Radiology Partners, the leading provider of technology and AI-enabled radiology services in the US, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Everlight Radiology, a leading international teleradiology provider. Financial terms were not disclosed. Everlight serves hospitals, health systems and imaging centres across the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. The company operates a "follow-the-sun" model with a network of more than 800 radiologists working in over 40 countries, reporting over 2.5 million exams annually for 340-plus client organisations. The combination will create a global leader in teleradiology, bringing together Everlight's international network with Radiology Partners' vRad unit, the largest teleradiology platform in the US. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
Radiology Partners has appointed Matt Peterson as President of RP Clinical Services, effective 20 July. Peterson joins from Universal Health Services, where he led the Behavioral Health Division overseeing more than 350 facilities across 39 US states and internationally. Krishna Nallamshetty, MD, transitions from Interim Chief Operating Officer to full-time COO, whilst also serving as Interim Chief Medical Officer during the search for a permanent CMO. Dr Nallamshetty previously served as Chief Medical Officer of Radiology Partners and Practice President of Radiology Associates of Florida. The appointments aim to strengthen RP Clinical Services' leadership by combining Peterson's healthcare operating experience with Dr Nallamshetty's clinical and operational expertise.
