He will report to President and Chief Operating Officer Emily Videtto. Hougland joins from Whirlpool Corporation, where he managed a multi-billion-dollar North American business unit overseeing multiple brands, product lines and manufacturing operations. He previously worked in mergers and acquisitions investment banking at UBS and private equity at Hammond Kennedy Whitney. In his new role, Hougland will lead growth strategy and financial performance across Pella's brand portfolio, including Pella, Avanti, Bonelli, Burris, CWS, Weather Shield and Win-Dor.
