About the job

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications using TypeScript or JavaScript, React or Next.js, and Node or Python.
  • Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Replit Agent, with judgment about when to trust or rewrite their output.
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills in Postgres or a cloud data warehouse, including building data pipelines and mapping data between systems.
  • Experience consolidating systems or migrating data between platforms, including de-duplicating and reconciling records.
  • Experience building on REST APIs and webhooks, and with OAuth and single sign-on using OIDC or SAML.
  • Experience shipping features on large language model APIs, including prompts, structured output, evaluation, and cost control.
  • Security practices including secret management, access control, input validation, and safe handling of personal data.
  • Experience with Git, code review, automated tests, and repeatable deploys.
  • Clear written communication for short specifications, change notes, and plain-English updates for non-technical staff.
  • Ability to pass a background check as required for financial services employees.
Responsibilities
  • Build and ship full-stack web applications and automations with AI coding tools, taking work from a short specification or wireframe through production.
  • Own a growing set of internal applications, including an AI-assisted help desk, partner-relationship tool, digital forms connected to the CRM, new-account paperwork workflow, planning tools that convert meeting notes and documents into client data, and sales-call dashboards.
  • Develop a CRM platform connected to the data warehouse so each team can work from a unified view of each client.
  • Develop custom applications at management's direction, from requirements through build, release, and support.
  • Test and quality-assure every release with automated tests, user acceptance testing with the requesting team, and regression checks before production.
  • Turn prototypes into maintainable code through clean data models, tests, code review, version control, and documented deployments.
  • Build AI features using large language model APIs, including document and transcript extraction, scoring, drafting, and agents that propose changes for human approval.
  • Design and build Falcon's data warehouse as a single source of truth for custodian, Salesforce, eMoney, Zoom, and document data.
  • Map data across systems, including field-by-field mappings, household and account matching, and shared definitions so reports align across teams.
  • Build and operate data pipelines from custodian feeds and APIs, with checks that detect bad, late, or missing data.
  • Consolidate systems by retiring overlapping tools, migrating their data into Falcon's systems, and merging duplicate records.
  • Integrate with Salesforce, Zoom Phone, Contact Center and Team Chat, Google Workspace Gmail, Drive and Calendar, and custodian platforms including Fidelity, Schwab, TradePMR, and Interactive Brokers.
  • Keep Salesforce data clean and synchronized across applications.
  • Put every application behind company sign-in using Google or Okta single sign-on, with role-based access.
  • Protect client data through encryption, redaction before data reaches AI services, least-privilege API keys, and secret management.
  • Build audit logs, approval steps, and rollback into applications that change production systems to meet SEC books-and-records and Regulation S-P expectations.
  • Monitor uptime, errors, and AI usage costs, and resolve issues quickly.
  • Support identity and access management in Okta and Google Workspace, including automated onboarding and offboarding with Okta groups and Workflows.
  • Back up the technology team on Zoom, network, and endpoint issues when needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or a similar cloud data warehouse, and transformation tools such as dbt.
  • Google Cloud or AWS experience hosting applications and managing databases, storage, identity and access, and cloud costs.
  • Experience with wealth management data feeds or platforms such as BridgeFT, Milemarker, or Addepar.
  • Salesforce development or administration experience, including Apex, Flows, REST and Metadata APIs, especially Financial Services Cloud.
  • Zoom API experience with Phone, Contact Center, or Team Chat applications.
  • Google Workspace API experience with Gmail, Drive, or Calendar.
  • Experience at a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or other SEC-regulated firm.
  • Experience building AI agents with human approval steps or retrieval over company documents.
  • Okta administration and Okta Workflows experience.
  • Familiarity with custodian platforms such as Fidelity, Schwab, TradePMR, and Interactive Brokers.
