  • Assess how the land was purchased and whether any third party holds a charge over it.
  • Cross-reference each scheme against current legislation, including space standards.

  • Ensure meeting notes are taken and follow-ups are tracked.

About the company

GetGround is a fintech platform that simplifies property investment in the UK. It serves portfolio landlords, international investors, and property managers by offering an integrated suite of tools to manage buy-to-let portfolios. The platform provides calculators for buy-to-let mortgages, earnings, and stamp duty to help investors make informed decisions. It acts as a one-stop solution for the investment process, from sourcing finance to managing properties, and earns commissions from lenders. The company aims to streamline the investment workflow and help clients grow their wealth through UK property investments. How it stands out: GetGround combines multiple parts of the investment process into a single platform—financing, portfolio management, and financial calculations—focused on UK buy-to-let, including international investors, rather than offering only a standalone tool or advisory service.

Launched in 2020, GetGround serves 30,000 active UK property investors through its fintech platform and provides sourcing, funding and insurance services to 200,000 property investors and landlords globally. The acquisition aims to strengthen GetGround's position in the UK property investment industry by combining distribution, investor reach and ownership infrastructure.
