Ando Technologies builds AI-powered infrastructure to optimize the global hourly workforce. It offers a platform that helps employers forecast demand, match shifts to available W-2 workers, and create preferred schedules through a shared talent network. The system uses AI to forecast demand and perform intelligent matching, plus preference-based scheduling to stabilize shifts. It supports managers and workers in sectors like food/beverage, retail, logistics, and healthcare. Unlike gig-based staffing, Ando uses a W-2 employment model and guarantees shift coverage, reducing turnover and labor waste. The goal is to bring stability to frontline operations by aligning workforce supply with business demand, lowering understaffing and revenue losses.

Ando raises $4M to use AI to match hourly workers with predictable schedules

Ando, a company building AI infrastructure for the hourly workforce, has raised $4 million in seed funding led by Slow Ventures. Participants include Blitzscaling Ventures, Zero Capital, Monochrome, Gaingels, Mana Ventures and Fireroad. The San Francisco-based startup uses AI to forecast demand and create schedules that accommodate workers' real constraints, including childcare, school pickups and multiple jobs. The platform has achieved over 90% demand accuracy on a daily basis and maintains 100% customer retention. Ando addresses a market of approximately 80 million hourly workers in the US, where turnover regularly reaches 150%. The company has been serving enterprise customers for over a year, with some locations reporting $60,000 to $80,000 in incremental revenue. The funding will support platform expansion and enterprise customer scaling.
