About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 12 years of experience in program management, business operations, or marketing/GTM operations, ideally orchestrating growth, marketing, or commercial programs across multiple markets in a marketplace, e-commerce, or consumer-technology environment.
  • A proven track record of establishing a new operating system or central coordination capability from scratch—including intake, prioritization, RACI, cadence, and governance—and scaling it across many teams and geographies.
  • Experience orchestrating work cross-functionally in a heavily matrixed organization, creating clarity across product, growth marketing, merchandising, finance, and regional and country operations, and partnering with senior leaders up to the executive level.
  • Strong operating discipline across cross-workstream roadmaps, change intake and sequencing, conflict resolution, launch management, business reviews, executive reporting, and written communication for distributed teams.
  • Ability to translate multi-million-dollar budget decisions into roadmap and resourcing changes and report spend and return to leadership.
  • Analytical fluency, including partnering with analytics and finance on performance, efficiency, and incrementality, setting consistent measurement standards, and comfort working with numbers; SQL familiarity is a plus.
  • Ability to operate amid ambiguity and transition while ownership models are forming, with a bias toward action, ownership, and prioritization.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity; some states are excluded.

Responsibilities

  • Own one cross-lever roadmap and source of truth, consolidating incentives, host-funded promotions, engagement and customer relationship management, partnerships, and merchandising campaigns across all regions into a single plan.
  • Build and run the levers operating system, including cadence, launch readiness, and clear RACI across Global Markets, central growth marketing, product, and finance, surfacing resourcing gaps early.
  • Establish change intake and sequencing for campaign and lever requests, with clear prioritization, approval, and conflict-resolution rules for overlapping campaigns.
  • Translate budgets into executable plans by tracking committed versus available spend across levers and markets, rapidly turning funding decisions into roadmap changes, and providing leadership with a current view of spending and returns.
  • Align regional business operations, growth marketing, partnerships, and central product and merchandising teams, unblock decisions, and coordinate a unified conversation.
  • Partner with playbook and country-planning owners to turn strategies into standardized templates, coupon and efficiency-reference libraries, launch checklists, and repeatable operations across markets.
  • Partner with Advanced Analytics and FP&A on consistent tracking, post-mortems, and readouts for efficiency, incrementality, seasonality, auto-apply, and spotlights, and standardize performance expectations across regions.
  • Own Global Markets reporting cadence by assembling and steering the Weekly Business Review with regional directors, driving weekly leadership reporting and the monthly country-performance newsletter, coordinating team staff meetings, and preparing executive and country deep-dive reviews.
  • Run recurring cross-functional roadmap syncs with payments, advanced analytics, growth marketing, merchandising, and international product, converting roadmap changes, guardrails, and escalations into decisions and next steps.
  • Maintain the operating system through peak seasons and leadership absences, keeping the levers and reporting cadence moving.

Desired Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with one or more growth levers, such as incentives, promotions and coupons, host-funded offers, lifecycle/customer relationship management, merchandising, or partnerships.
  • Experience working across international markets and time zones.

About the Company

Airbnb

Connects travelers with stays and local activities

Airbnb runs an online marketplace where travelers book places to stay, local activities and personal services from hosts. Listings range from rooms in shared homes to entire properties and independent hotels, giving guests alternatives to conventional hotel stays. Hosts set prices and availability, while guests search by destination, compare listings and book through the website or mobile app. The platform handles payments and messaging, and earns service fees on reservations rather than renting out properties it owns; hosts receive payouts for the stays, experiences or services they arrange. Airbnb was founded in 2007 and has its headquarters in San Francisco, California.
