Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Public Health is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in vendor management and procurement is required.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management and vendor relationship management is required.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities are required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of delegated vendor partnerships from onboarding through ongoing operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for delegated vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Foster collaborative and transparent relationships to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators and service level agreements.
  • Analyze vendor performance data and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Escalate and resolve vendor-related performance issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all delegated vendor activities, reviews, and decisions.
  • Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Information Technology teams to align vendor performance with organizational priorities.
  • Participate in internal and external audits related to delegated functions.
  • Review, validate, and approve vendor invoices in accordance with contract terms and organizational policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and resolve invoicing discrepancies or disputes.
  • Monitor vendor budgets, spending trends, and financial compliance.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • A Master's degree in Healthcare Administration is preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with delegated credentialing, utilization management, or claims processing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the National Committee for Quality Assurance, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and other industry standards is preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency is preferred.
