Teads expands global CTV offering with Whale TV partnership.

Teads expands global CTV offering with Whale TV partnership. Agreement brings Whale TV inventory to advertisers worldwide through Teads Ad Manager. NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Teads (NASDAQ: TEAD), the omnichannel outcomes platform, today announced the global expansion of its partnership with Whale TV, making Whale TV's HomeScreen and native CTV inventory available worldwide through Teads Ad Manager. The agreement expands a European collaboration launched in 2024 into a broader global partnership, extending advertiser access across more than 100 countries. As an independent TV operating system working with more than 400 TV brand partners, Whale TV adds further breadth to Teads' CTV footprint across established markets and fast-growing regions in Asia-Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. The expansion is part of Teads' continued investment in CTV. Over the past year, the company has added or expanded inventory partnerships with Google TV(TM), LG Ad Solutions, V (formerly VIDAA), and TiVo. Teads provides advertisers with direct access to more than 500 million addressable TV devices globally for HomeScreen advertising. Through Teads Ad Manager, advertisers can unlock HomeScreen growth at scale by planning, activating, and optimizing campaigns across multiple OEM environments from a single platform. This multi-OEM reach is supported by more than 6,000 HomeScreen campaigns delivered since 2023, reflecting growing advertiser adoption of the format across markets and categories. "Advertisers are looking for global CTV scale without the complexity of managing separate platforms and regional workflows," said Simon Klein, Global SVP Commercial Strategy CTV at Teads. "Expanding our relationship with Whale TV gives brands greater access to high-impact HomeScreen inventory while strengthening the global supply foundation behind our omnichannel CTV offering." "Our partnership with Teads has grown from a strong regional collaboration into a global opportunity for advertisers," said Chris Hock, VP, Head of Whale TV Ads. "By making Whale TV inventory available worldwide through Teads Ad Manager, we are helping brands access high-impact TV environments more easily and connect those experiences with broader cross-screen campaigns." Advertisers can access Whale TV's HomeScreen masthead and native display placements, including formats that expand into immersive full-screen video when viewers interact with the ad. Teads will also continue to monetize Whale TV's CTV InStream inventory globally under the companies' existing relationship, providing complementary opportunities to reach audiences throughout the viewing experience. Within Teads Ad Manager, Whale TV inventory can be activated alongside campaigns across CTV, web, and mobile. Advertisers can apply Teads' audience intelligence, creative capabilities, predictive AI, and measurement solutions within the same workflow, helping connect high-impact HomeScreen placements with broader campaign objectives. The expanded partnership also contributes to Teads' wider CTV offering, including Teads CTV Ensemble, its suite of HomeScreen and InStream solutions. By combining growing supply access with unified activation, data, creative, and measurement, Teads is giving advertisers greater flexibility to make CTV a more integrated part of omnichannel media planning. Whale TV inventory is now live in Teads Ad Manager worldwide. Teads & V launch TV HomeScreen partnership ahead of peak shopping season.

Teads & V launch TV HomeScreen partnership ahead of peak shopping season. Published on: 20th August 2026 at 9:23 AM Teads and V (formerly known as VIDAA), Smart TV operating system used by Hisense and other leading OEM devices, have signed a multi-year strategic partnership running through 2028 designed to transform how brands engage consumers on the biggest screen in the home. Teads will serve as the exclusive global partner for a 10-day TV HomeScreen takeover during peak season sales across Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This agreement introduces a market-first approach to TV HomeScreen advertising, shifting the industry standard beyond traditional buying models. For the first time, global advertisers can leverage hardware-level insights to target audiences based on specific screen sizes - including high-value "Platinum" tier displays - and room placement within the home. This capability allows brands to deliver highly relevant, premium ad experiences directly to living rooms across roughly 30 markets in EMEA, APAC, and the Americas, including the US during the 10-day Black Friday and Cyber Monday period. The power of the TV HomeScreen format is supported by recent research conducted with neuroscience specialists MediaMento Institute. In controlled testing, Teads' HomeScreen video ads achieved a 48 percent attention rate, outperforming traditional skippable formats by 16 percent, while interactive 3D creative captured viewer attention 29 percent faster and sustained it significantly longer, demonstrating the impact of high-quality creative in the living room environment. "This partnership goes beyond traditional TV buys, it completely reinvents how brands connect with consumers on the biggest screen in the home," said David Kostman, CEO of Teads. "By unlocking exclusive global HomeScreen access during peak retail moments like Black Friday, we are giving advertisers a single, unified point of entry to reach audiences based on screen size and room context. It's a powerful combination of exclusivity, relevance, and global scale that sets a new benchmark for TV advertising." "As the operating system powering tens of millions of TVs worldwide, V is committed to building intuitive, premium environments where consumers want to be," said Guy Edri, CEO of V. "Collaborating with Teads gives our platform a unique edge by turning the TV HomeScreen into an active discovery hub. Providing brands with access to key audiences across screen size and household context during the biggest shopping window of the year." Through this multi-year commitment, Teads and V are establishing a repeatable global model for seasonal tentpoles, bringing together hardware intelligence and full-funnel performance to empower brands during peak shopping windows. Teads suspends 2026 guidance amid 30% drop in SME profit despite $40M CTV surge

Teads reported Q2 revenue of $285 million, down 17% year-over-year, with $123 million in ex-TAC gross profit, $7 million in adjusted EBITDA and $3 million in free cash flow. The company suspended its 2026 guidance due to volatility in its direct-response and SME business. The enterprise segment stabilised, with flat year-over-year advertiser spending. Teads expects mid-single-digit gross-profit growth in the second half of 2026. Connected TV revenue surged 67% to approximately $40 million, representing 13% of quarterly revenue. The direct-response and SME segment struggled, with ex-TAC gross profit falling 30% to $34 million amid search-related traffic declines and platform changes. Teads is responding with its AI-powered EngageOS platform and cost reductions.
