Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery workshops with client stakeholders to map current-state processes against the target platform, translating business needs into configuration requirements.
  • Author Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, process flows, and configuration documentation for delivery teams.
  • Configure and validate platform components such as queues, workflows, templates, reporting, components, and asset workflows under guidance during ramp and independently after certification.
  • Manage relationships with client stakeholders across business and technical functions, including executive-level updates on rollout status, risks, and required decisions.
  • Drive user adoption and change-management activities, including training sessions, Standard Operating Procedures, and go-live support for end users transitioning to the new platform.
  • Participate in the internal enablement program by completing platform certification tracks, shadowing senior consultants, and progressively taking ownership of client workstreams.
  • Identify and escalate integration or technical dependencies, such as Workfront Fusion or Adobe Experience Manager Digital Asset Management connections, to technical leads.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in agile software development practices within a large team environment.
  • Exposure to Representational State Transfer or Simple Object Access Protocol integrations or middleware.
  • Basic Structured Query Language or Business Intelligence reporting-tool experience, including dashboards and data queries.

Jon Cook, the global CEO of VML and WPP Creative, is leaving the holding company after three decades to pursue the "next chapter" of his career, according to a release. Eric Campbell, the current North America CEO of VML and WPP Creative, will succeed him as global CEO of VML, while retaining his North American remit with WPP Creative. Cook will remain in his role until March 2027, allowing for a "seamless" transition for Campbell, the release said. He described the decision as one of the most difficult he's had to make. "After three decades of pouring everything I have into this agency and all of WPP," Cook said, "it is time to build something new." Christopher Cicchiello is ADWEEK's agencies reporter. VML UK was named Agency of the Year, while NoA took both independent titles and Amazon Cross-Channel Marketing led the in-house ranking. After The KitKat Heist won two Grand Prix, VML UK was named Global Agency of the Year and KitKat took Global Brand of the Year. The announcement gives a broader view of this year's results. African Parks appoints VML South Africa as digital agency partner. 22 Sep 2026 10:00 Marketing 85 Conservation NGO African Parks has partnered with VML South Africa with the aim to share the stories, celebrate the partnerships and highlight conservation outcomes across its portfolio. Through the partnership, African Parks aims to deepen engagement with supporters and audiences around the world, bringing greater visibility and understanding to the long-term work being undertaken with governments, local communities and other partners to conserve some of Africa's most critically important landscapes. Africa is home to a quarter of the world's biodiversity. Well-managed protected areas can help safeguard this natural heritage while supporting ecological, social and economic resilience over the long term. As a non-profit conservation organisation, African Parks says it takes on responsibility for the long-term management of protected areas in partnership with governments and local communities. It manages 24 protected areas in 13 countries, covering more than 20-million hectares across terrestrial and marine landscapes. African Parks has appointed VML South Africa to support its digital strategy and help tell these stories more effectively.
