About the job

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of data center network infrastructure and production network layers.
  • Familiarity with network deployment processes, including rack and stack, provisioning, circuit audits, device scanning, and activation/undrain workflows.
  • Understanding of material logistics, including hardware delivery service-level agreements, bill of materials management, warehouse operations, and vendor coordination.
  • Proficiency with project tracking tools.
  • Hands-on experience with artificial intelligence tools and agentic frameworks for workflow automation and reporting.

  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, high-pressure environments with aggressive schedules and frequent remediation cycles.
  • Ability to distill complex multi-site status into clear leadership readouts.
  • Track record of driving accountability and following up when milestones are at risk.
  • Five to eight years of progressive experience in project/program management within data center construction, network infrastructure, telecommunications, or critical facility deployment.
  • Experience managing projects in the $1 million–$10 million range with multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Direct experience with data center construction phases, including foundation, cable start, TFO, commissioning, and network turn-up.

  • Ability to obtain site access badges and pass background checks for data center facilities.
  • Flexibility to support critical deployment milestones outside standard hours, including energization events and SEV response.
Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the New Build Deployment Tracker for assigned buildings, tracking milestones from Cable Ready to Production Ready.
  • Drive weekly New Build coordination calls with cross-functional and internal teams.
  • Track dependencies across multiple network layers.
  • Integrate construction and network schedules and maintain alignment between multiple schedule sources.
  • Lead or co-lead New Build calls starting at cable start for data centers being built.
  • Post weekly program updates highlighting new or changed risks, milestone achievements, and upcoming milestone dates.
  • Serve as the bridge between Construction Managers, Deployment Engineers, Connectivity Engineers, and supporting teams.
  • Influence cross-functional partners to provide and commit to dates.
  • Facilitate SEV creation and escalation for schedule risks and cross-team blockers.
  • Coordinate network infrastructure deployment across multiple concurrent buildings, typically two to four simultaneous sites.
  • Track hardware delivery service-level agreements, material logistics (including warehouse locations and shipping from the nearest facility), and upstream dependencies.
  • Understand and manage differences between building types.
  • Monitor and drive resolution of deployment blockers.
  • Identify schedule risks early by understanding service-level-agreement back-off calculations and hardware delivery timelines relative to project milestones.
  • Create and manage SEVs for deployment blockers.
  • Proactively communicate timeline impacts with specific expected impacts and revised timelines.
  • Escalate to leadership when cross-functional commitments are not being met.
  • Contribute to template standardization across building types.
  • Conduct lessons-learned reviews to identify recurring gaps in the deployment process.
  • Mentor and train incoming DEMs through the reverse shadow model and milestone sessions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience in hyperscale data center environments such as Google, AWS, Microsoft, or similar.
  • PMP, CAPM, or CSM certification.

Astreya integrates 3CLogic voice AI into ServiceNow to unify contact center and ITSM operations

Astreya, a global IT managed services provider, has expanded its AI-first service desk by integrating 3CLogic's voice AI platform with ServiceNow IT Service Management. The integration unifies voice interactions, incident management and AI insights in a single interface, eliminating the need for agents to switch between multiple systems. The platform delivers production-ready AI capabilities including real-time transcription, AI-driven guidance during live interactions, automated call summaries and AI-powered quality monitoring. 3CLogic holds ServiceNow's Elite Build Partner status, the highest technical integration level available. The integration aims to transform voice interactions into connected, searchable assets whilst enabling users to interact with AI agents via voice channels. Cognizant acquires Astreya to scale AI infrastructure amid $6.7T data centre buildout

Cognizant has agreed to acquire Astreya, a global AI-first IT managed services provider based in San Jose, California, for an undisclosed sum. The transaction, expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, will expand Cognizant's AI infrastructure capabilities and strengthen its position as an "AI builder". Founded in 2001 and operating across over 35 countries, Astreya provides managed services to six of the "Magnificent Seven" hyperscalers. Its proprietary AI OpsHub platform and expertise in designing and managing AI infrastructure across the full value chain will complement Cognizant's existing capabilities. The acquisition comes amid a projected $6.7 trillion AI data centre infrastructure buildout between 2025 and 2030, with the five largest hyperscalers expected to spend nearly $700 billion on infrastructure in 2026 alone.

Cognizant to buy Astreya for about $600 million. Published 04/29/2026, 04:34 AM Updated 04/29/2026, 04:36 AM (C) Reuters. By Milana Vinn and Natalia Bueno Rebolledo April 29 (Reuters) - Cognizant Technology has agreed to buy Astreya, an IT services and technology provider focused on AI infrastructure and data center services, in a deal valued at around $600 million, the company told Reuters. The deal is expected to strengthen Cognizant's AI infrastructure capabilities, as companies ramp up spending on the technology that is reshaping industries. The deal, expected to close in the second quarter of 2026 pending regulatory approvals, is likely to be announced on Wednesday. Cognizant has benefited from enterprise clients accelerating AI integration and automation as they migrate workloads to the cloud. The company has expanded partnerships with Microsoft and AI startup Anthropic to stay ahead of rivals in a highly competitive industry. "By acquiring Astreya and its proprietary AI tooling and production-grade infrastructure platform, which is complementary to Cognizant's AI builder stack, we will be even better-positioned to help clients architect their platform-led AI systems and operationalise them at scale," Chief Executive Ravi Kumar S said. The Astreya deal builds on a recent run of acquisitions aimed at strengthening Cognizant's AI business. The company bought tech consulting firm 3Cloud in January to expand its Microsoft Azure capabilities and acquired digital engineering firm Belcan in 2024 for nearly $1.3 billion. Founded in 2001, Astreya has spent nearly a decade managing data center infrastructure, AI lab environments and enterprise networks for six of the so-called Magnificent Seven tech firms. Cognizant, valued at $26 billion, has lost more than a third of its market value this year, weighed down by a weak demand outlook for IT services and AI-driven deflation fears.
