About the company

Ramp runs a financial operations platform for businesses and their finance teams, linking corporate cards with expense records and invoice payments. Ramp, valued at $60B, applies for US national trust bank charter

Ramp, a US fintech company that offers corporate cards and spend-management software, applied on October 19 to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) for a trust bank charter. The proposed entity would be called Ramp National Trust Bank. If approved, it could provide fiduciary investment management and custody for digital assets. Ramp said it would not take deposits or make commercial loans. The application adds to a wider push by startups into regulated banking. Revolut said it received conditional approval on September 3, 2026, to form a US national bank. Ramp was valued at $60 billion in a new funding round and has annualised revenue of $2 billion.
