Qualtrics appoints Mike Potter as Chief Technology Officer to power its next wave of AI innovation across Experience Management.

Qualtrics appoints Mike Potter as Chief Technology Officer to power its next wave of AI innovation across Experience Management. Qualtrics | Published 7 Oct 2026 Mike Potter has been appointed Chief Technology Officer, where he will lead platform architecture and engineering to power Qualtrics' next wave of AI innovation across Experience Management As Qualtrics scales its XM Data & AI platform, Mike will focus on core infrastructure, technical velocity, and system reliability He brings more than 25 years of technical leadership across Cognos, IBM, Qlik, and Petal. Most recently, he led Product, Engineering, IT, Data, and Security at Petal, delivering world-class healthcare solutions, following a decade at Qlik scaling engineering through rapid growth and platform transformation. Commenting on his appointment, Mike Potter said, "I have spent the better part of my career building platforms at scale, the kind of work that requires deep technical conviction, strong collaboration, and a relentless focus on what customers actually need. That is what drew me to Qualtrics. The opportunity to help define what our XM Data & AI platform means in practice, and to build the infrastructure that delivers on that promise, is one I could not pass up. "What excites me most about this moment is the scale of the architecture challenge ahead: turning a platform built for surveys and feedback into the AI-native infrastructure that can process, reason over, and act on experience data at enterprise scale. That is a systems problem as much as an AI problem, and it is exactly the kind of problem I have spent my career solving. "That's the mindset I bring to Qualtrics as we build the future of the XM Data & AI platform: deep technical expertise paired with a relentless focus on scale and reliability, in service of helping customers unlock the full potential of their experience data."

Kantar launches Experience Impact to link customer experience with brand growth.

Kantar launches Experience Impact to link customer experience with brand growth. The solution, powered by Qualtrics, helps organisations identify experiences that strengthen brand perceptions, benchmark competitors and prioritise investments. Reading Time: 2 mins read Mumbai: Kantar has launched Kantar Experience Impact, powered by the Qualtrics platform, a customer experience solution designed to help organisations connect customer experiences with brand strength and identify areas where investments can drive growth. The solution addresses a common challenge for organisations that measure customer experience, brand tracking and operational data separately, making it difficult to determine which experiences have the greatest impact on brand performance. Kantar Experience Impact brings these perspectives together by combining Kantar's Meaningfully Different Salient framework, which underpins its brand growth research, with Qualtrics' Experience Management Platform. The solution helps organisations assess how customer experiences strengthen or weaken brand perceptions, benchmark performance against competitors and identify actions that can strengthen brand equity. For customer experience, marketing and insights leaders, the solution provides visibility into which touchpoints influence customer perceptions most, where competitors are delivering stronger experiences and how organisations can build a case for experience investments linked to brand growth. Unlike traditional customer experience programmes that primarily focus on existing customers, Kantar Experience Impact incorporates the views of both customers and non-customers. This enables organisations to understand how experiences influence brand perceptions across the broader market. The solution can also incorporate voice-of-customer, operational and brand data, allowing organisations to understand both what is happening and the factors driving those outcomes. Early deployments have indicated that distinctiveness can be won or lost across a small number of critical moments. In a pilot involving a European telecommunications company, the largest perception gap was identified among first-year customers, highlighting onboarding as a key stage in shaping brand perceptions. "Kantar Experience Impact, powered by Qualtrics, represents a significant step forward in helping organisations connect brand and customer experience through a common language. By combining Kantar's Meaningfully Different framework with Qualtrics' technology, it provides a clearer understanding of the experiences that shape perceptions and drive meaningful differentiation. For clients, this means moving beyond isolated CX metrics to a holistic view of how experiences influence brand equity, supported by richer signals, AI-powered insights, and clearer guidance on the moments that matter most. The result is a practical roadmap that helps turn customer feedback into action, linking experience improvements to stronger brand growth and commercial impact. Improved experiences are more likely to increase a brand's market share by 2.5x," said Anand Parameswaran, Executive Director and Lead (West India), Kantar. "For too long, CX and brand teams have worked from different playbooks. Kantar Experience Impact brings them together. By pairing Kantar's proven understanding of how brands grow with Qualtrics' industry-leading Experience Management Platform, we're giving organisations an integrated view of how every interaction shapes the way their brand is perceived, and the confidence to act on it. It's a great example of what Kantar and Qualtrics can achieve together, and we're proud to bring it to market on World CX Day," said Adam Block, Chief Sales Officer, Qualtrics Developed in partnership with Qualtrics, Kantar Experience Impact is available through the Qualtrics platform and marketplace. The solution is aimed at sectors where customer experience has a significant influence on growth, including retail, financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, travel and hospitality.

Qualtrics launches Digital Experience Metrics Framework.

Qualtrics launches Digital Experience Metrics Framework. Qualtrics has introduced a Digital Experience Metrics Framework, offering organisations a standardised way to measure and track customer interactions across digital products and touchpoints. What happened. Qualtrics has introduced a new Digital Experience Metrics Framework, according to CX Today. The launch gives the experience-management vendor a structured approach for organisations to quantify and track how customers interact with digital products, services and touchpoints. Details beyond the launch itself are limited in current reporting, but the move positions Qualtrics to extend its established customer-experience measurement toolkit - long centred on surveys and sentiment tracking - into a more standardised way of assessing digital-specific performance. Why it matters. Digital experience has historically been measured through a patchwork of tools: web analytics, app performance monitoring, customer satisfaction surveys and ad hoc usability testing, often sitting in different teams with little common language. A dedicated metrics framework from a major experience-management player signals an industry push toward consolidating these signals into something more comparable and actionable for leadership. For organisations running digital transformation programmes, this matters because measurement gaps are frequently where good intentions fail. Without consistent metrics, it is difficult to prove that a new app, portal or self-service journey is actually delivering value - or to catch friction before it shows up in churn or complaint volumes. The renascence take. A new measurement framework is only as useful as the behaviour change it provokes inside an organisation. The real test for Qualtrics' framework will not be how comprehensive its metrics are, but whether it pushes teams to act differently when the numbers move. Most digital experience programmes don't fail from a lack of data - they fail because the data sits in a dashboard nobody is accountable to. The value of a standardised framework is that it forces a shared definition of "good," which is precisely what gets lost when marketing, product and IT each track their own version of success. Operators evaluating this should ask less "what does it measure" and more "who in our organisation changes their next decision because of it." This briefing was written by its Newsdesk, synthesising reporting from the outlets below. Follow the links for the original coverage. Questions Renascence get on this topic. It is a newly launched framework from Qualtrics that gives organisations a structured, standardised way to quantify and track how customers interact with digital products, services and touchpoints. Qualtrics introduces Healthcare XM: Press Ganey data, analytics & solutions on the XM Data & AI Platform.

Qualtrics introduces Healthcare XM: Press Ganey data, analytics & solutions on the XM Data & AI Platform. Qualtrics | Published 24 Sept 2026 Built on the world's largest human experiential dataset, the XM Data & AI Platform powers Healthcare XM. Healthcare XM advances Experience Management to simulate, predict, and deliver trusted outcomes, improving care, safety, and patient loyalty across the healthcare industry. Qualtrics names Thomas H. Lee, MD to Lead XM Institute, Qualtrics research arm delivering guidance to Experience Management leaders worldwide There is a gap in healthcare between what people expect and what is delivered. It is called the Experience Gap, and it has a human cost. People no longer grade a health system against the hospital across town, but against the best experience they have in any setting. Too often the problem is clear only after an appointment went unscheduled, care missed the mark, a safety risk went unseen, a clinician burned out, a poor rating went public, or a member switched plans. "When AI changes what people expect faster than healthcare organisations can change how they deliver care, the consequences extend far beyond financial or competitive risk. They affect trust, health outcomes, and people's lives," said Jason Maynard, CEO of Qualtrics. Qualtrics Healthcare XM Healthcare XM helps health systems and health plans deliver quality care, reduce costs, and improve patient loyalty through trusted, positive health outcomes. Healthcare XM is the Press Ganey proprietary data, analytics, and solutions on the XM Data & AI Platform, grounded in decades of robust governance, healthcare and regulatory expertise, rigorous measurement, trusted benchmarks, predictive analytics, and the world's largest proprietary experiential dataset. Key capabilities include: * Patient experience: Understand and improve the entire patient journey, from finding and accessing care through treatment, recovery, HCAHPS, and CAHPS. * Member experience: Understand and improve experiences across enrolment, access, service, care, Medicare CAHPS, and Stars. * Workforce experience: Strengthen engagement, culture, recognition, and retention by identifying what clinicians need and where leaders can make a difference. * Safety and quality: Bring together workforce conditions, NDNQI, PSO, safety signals, high reliability, and unit-level performance to identify risk earlier and improve care. * Consumer, brand, and access: Identify barriers to care, strengthen reputation, and guide growth from changing market dynamics. Measurement at this scale has previously focused on what already happened. Healthcare XM lets health systems and health plans simulate a change before it reaches a live unit, predict what a specific person will do while there is still time to act, and deliver trusted outcomes inside the moment. Simulation Test before you commit. Healthcare XM, grounded in the world's largest experiential dataset and Press Ganey benchmarks, generates research-grade simulations of patient cohorts, member segments, workforce roles, and community choice sets. Leaders pressure-test a discharge protocol, a staffing model, a digital front door, a service-line launch, or a Stars lever before a live unit feels it. Patient-identifiable data never leaves your environment and never trains a shared model. Prediction Know before they act. Experience Prediction Models, trained on proprietary datasets and grounded in the experience ontology, name what a specific person is likely to do. They identify patients at risk of missing appointments, members likely to disenroll, nurses considering leaving, and units facing elevated safety risks, while there is still time to intervene. Trusted Outcomes Act in the moments that matter. Healthcare XM can initiate outreach, escalate a safety concern, recommend the next best action, or trigger a workflow, all within the organisation's clinical, regulatory, workforce, and privacy requirements. Agents do not write clinical orders. Experience Loops. Where patient loyalty compounds. A patient journey map describes an episode of care, but a patient's relationship with a health system does not end with one. From the first encounter through ongoing care and the decision to return, loyalty is built or broken in specific moments: whether the care plan is understood, the connection with the nurse or doctor is made, the concern is addressed. That relationship is an experience loop. Available today, the Healthcare XM Experience Loop Diagnostic Service turns that loop into a prescriptive plan grounded in the experience ontology and decades of care-journey programs: which moments carry weight, where data is missing, and what to activate first. "We are focused on providing extraordinary experiences for our patients, health plan members, and consumers. When we have personal interaction information available in the moment, it doesn't sit in a dashboard or wait for the next survey. The information is in the hands of the people who can act on it, in real time. It's another way we can improve our relationship and experiences with those we serve." - Tina Freese Decker, CEO, Corewell Health Availability Healthcare XM will be available in 2027. The Healthcare XM Experience Loop Diagnostic Service is available today. Press Ganey proprietary data, analytics, and solutions will run on the XM Data & AI Platform. Press Ganey applications available today will continue to be fully supported, and will become more valuable on the platform, backed by the same benchmarks, expertise, and advisory services clients rely on. Qualtrics provided a preview of Healthcare XM - Watch the replay. Thomas H. Lee, MD Named Executive Director, XM Institute Qualtrics also announced that Thomas H. Lee, MD, has been named Executive Director of XM Institute, Qualtrics' global research and thought leadership organisation for experience management. XM Institute helps organisations across every industry understand and improve experiences for the people they serve, publishing research, benchmarks, and practical guidance that experience leaders use to close the gap between what people expect and what they receive. Lee has served as Chief Medical Officer of Press Ganey for fourteen years, is a practicing internist and cardiologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital and holds faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He is also editor-in-chief of NEJM Catalyst. "Organisations everywhere are struggling to close the experience gap," said Dr. Lee. "XM Institute provides research-backed guidance to help leaders design and deliver experiences that earn trust. I'm honoured and excited to lead that valuable mission."
