Requirements
  • Must have verifiable expertise in the products utilized in WSSC networks, data systems, video teleconferencing operations, and communications security, and familiarity with Air Force Instructions and JSIG-series regulations or equivalent.
  • Must hold professional and approved U.S. Department of War Directive 8140.01 certifications related to information security as required and appropriate for the duty position, such as CompTIA Security+.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Must have a Top Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Manage, support, and maintain B-2 local area networks composed of network equipment located at Tinker Air Force Base.
  • Manage, support, and maintain B-2 wide area networks, including network equipment, long-haul circuits, and encryption equipment extending beyond Tinker Air Force Base.
  • Use infrastructure management software to provide situational awareness, network impact analysis, and service-level management; identify network assets; and generate network topology maps down to physical and logical ports.
  • Manage, support, and maintain firewalls and boundary local and wide area network routers.
  • Provide customer support using infrastructure management software, network protocol analyzers, and Simple Network Management Protocol network management software to analyze network traffic.
  • Initiate, implement, and maintain network documentation in Microsoft Visio, Excel, and Word, including network drawings, vendor information, meeting minutes, and action items.
  • Lead the networking subgroup of the Cyber Security Working Group and participate in regular meetings with privileged users.
  • Perform system administration and auditing support for Windows-based systems under network operations control, including facility access control, intrusion detection, and emergency public address systems.
  • Manage, support, administer, and maintain antivirus software suites as needed for supported systems.
  • Work with the B-2 Information Systems Security Manager and Information Systems Security Officer to identify and resolve computer and information system security issues.
  • Perform cable plant design, modification, additions, and repairs involving Category 5, single-mode fiber, and multimode fiber on local networks.
  • Work with the prime contractor, subcontractors, and the Defense Information Systems Agency to provide design and implementation support for the B-2 Enterprise.
  • Manage, support, and maintain B-2 access control and intrusion systems.
  • Manage, support, and maintain Scala digital signage software.
  • Provide video teleconferencing support for classified operations, including Global Video Services and the Air Force Special Enclave Video Enterprise Network, at Tinker Air Force Base and potentially remote enterprise locations.
  • Provide communications security support for the B-2 Enterprise, including configuration, management, and accountability of General Dynamics encryptors, General Dynamics Sectéra vIPer phones, and applicable key material.
  • Coordinate with Base Communications Security personnel regarding key materials, semiannual inspections, and defective-device replacement.
  • Create and update Emergency Action Plans for Sectéra vIPer phones and controlled areas.
  • Brief personnel on access-list requirements and perform and document semiannual Emergency Action Plan exercises.
  • Provide Telephone Control Officer support, including configuration, management, and accountability of Voice over Internet Protocol phones.
  • Deliver a monthly status report.
  • Travel periodically to B-2 enterprise locations as required by the contract.
