Aramco Digital and OrbitronAI sign strategic AI partnership to help industrial companies recover billions in lost value.

Aramco Digital and OrbitronAI sign strategic AI partnership to help industrial companies recover billions in lost value. October 13, 2026 Aramco Digital and OrbitronAI today announced a strategic commercial partnership to co-develop, deploy and commercialize AI solutions designed to help asset-intensive industries identify and recover billions of dollars in lost value across projects, contracts and operations, creating a new model for Industrial Value Recovery. The partnership combines Aramco Digital's industrial knowledge, scale and market reach with OrbitronAI's industrial AI technology and experience in applying AI to complex business processes. Target customer sectors include oil and gas, power and utilities, metals and mining, transport and logistics, and manufacturing. The companies AI products will target multibillion-dollar value pools in areas including capital productivity, supply chain performance and operational execution, where fragmented information, complex workflows and delayed decisions can materially affect financial performance. In capital-intensive environments, delays in reviews, reconciliation and decision-making can affect schedule, cost and returns on invested capital. In supply chains, limited visibility across materials, suppliers and logistics can increase cost, tie up working capital and disrupt operations. OrbitronAI's technology is specifically designed for these capital-intensive environments. It works across structured and unstructured industrial information, connects with enterprise systems and combines agentic reasoning with deterministic execution, while critical calculations, controls and approvals remain governed and subject to human oversight. The partnership will follow a co-development and joint go-to-market model. Solutions will be developed around real industrial use cases, tested and deployed with customers, and then developed into repeatable products that can be scaled across similar processes and industries. "Aramco Digital is focused on areas where our industrial knowledge, scale and data create a clear advantage. Capital projects, supply chain and other asset-intensive processes represent major opportunities to improve execution and create economic value. Through our partnership with OrbitronAI, we intend to convert that industrial advantage into scalable AI products for Aramco, our affiliates and the wider industrial market," said Ashraf Tahini, CEO of Aramco Digital. "Together with Aramco Digital, we are building a repeatable model for Industrial Value Recovery: take a high-value industrial process, embed industrial-grade agents into the workflow, recover the value and turn what works into a product that can scale across the industry," said Saulius Adomaitis, Co-Founder and CEO of OrbitronAI. Successful capabilities developed through the partnership will be designed for reuse across similar industrial processes, creating a path to commercialization across Saudi Arabia and selected international markets. The partnership will initially focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a longer-term ambition to commercialize the solutions globally and build a portfolio of industrial AI products that can help companies reduce costs, improve execution and recover significant economic value. OrbitronAI's founding team combines industrial operating and technology experience. Saulius Adomaitis, Co-Founder & CEO, is a former EY Global Oil & Gas Leader, with over 20 years of experience driving large-scale digital transformations and asset management strategies across the energy sector. Luvy Singh, Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer, previously led asset operations and supply chain functions at Shell, Tata Steel and DuPont and was a partner at EY. Ashu Gupta, Co-Founder and Chief AI Officer, was a founding CTO at a leading fintech company, while Poonam Gupta, Co-Founder and CTO, leads engineering for OrbitronAI's industrial AI platform. DuPont announces winners of third annual Tyvek(R) Sustainable Healthcare Packaging Awards. Awards recognize continued excellence in healthcare packaging initiatives that utilize Tyvek(R) material to help drive and promote sustainable innovation WILMINGTON, Del., Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - DuPont (NYSE: DD) announced the winners of its global awards program, the Tyvek(R) Sustainable Healthcare Packaging Awards, during the Medical Packaging Conference (MPC) hosted by DuPont September 30 - October 2, 2026, in Boston. Now in its third year, this awards program recognizes leaders across the healthcare industry who are embracing and driving sustainability throughout the packaging lifecycle. The three 2026 winners, who utilize healthcare packaging made with DuPont(TM) Tyvek(R) material and whose efforts show a significant focus on sustainability in the three award categories, are: Packaging (re)Design: Plastic Ingenuity Plastic Ingenuity developed a new ready-to-use (RTU) tub and lid platform made from recycled PuraForm(TM) 134 polyester, offering an alternative to injection-molded polystyrene. Paired with Tyvek(R), the design cuts plastic use by 15 percent and avoids 217 metric tons of CO2e per 1 million units, while staying recyclable. This helps manufacturers implement a solution made from materials that generate fewer particulates while providing a more sustainable solution. Operational Efficiencies: Coligroup Spa Coligroup redesigned traditional suture packaging to eliminate an entire layer of material while preserving full sterility. Relying solely on an aluminum inner pouch fitted with a strip made of Tyvek(R), the solution lets sterilizing gas fully penetrate the package, removing the need for a second outer layer. This cuts material, labor and sterilization costs by up to 35 percent. Sustainability In-Use: Nelipak Healthcare Packaging Nelipak Healthcare Packaging developed Ecovate(TM) headerbags, an all-polyethylene laminate combining mono-axially oriented PE (MOPE) with Tyvek(R) with Renewable Attribution, replacing the mixed-material laminates common across the ready-to-fill/use (RTF/U) market. The mono-material structure is certified recyclable by Institut Cyclos-HTP and could lower the product's greenhouse gas footprint up to 40 percent when including end of life recycling, helping the growing RTF/U market advance packaging circularity. "This year's winners demonstrate that sustainable healthcare packaging progress is happening through practical design choices, operational improvements and scalable material innovations," said Lesley Aulick, global business director, DuPont(TM) Tyvek(R) Roll Goods. "We are honored Tyvek(R) has a role in these initiatives and are committed to continued advancement of circularity, reducing environmental impact and supporting sustainability goals - all while protecting products and helping to ensure patient safety." The Tyvek(R) Sustainable Healthcare Packaging Awards program further supports the Tyvek(R) Healthcare Packaging team's work to help advance DuPont's global strategy of working across the supply chain to help enable a more circular economy. The awards program is open to any medical device and/or pharmaceutical manufacturer, sterile packaging manufacturer, healthcare facility, university, material recovery facility, or other healthcare company focused on sustainable packaging made with DuPont(TM) Tyvek(R) material. The next application period is expected to open in 2027, and more information on how to apply as well as current and previous winners can be found on the Tyvek(R) Sustainable Healthcare Packaging Awards website. Attorney General Todd Rokita leads multistate coalition to stop DuPont shell game, hold companies accountable for PFAS contamination.

Attorney General Todd Rokita leads multistate coalition to stop DuPont shell game, hold companies accountable for PFAS contamination. Office of the Attorney General Todd Rokita. Attorney General Todd Rokita today led a bipartisan coalition of 16 states and territories in a lawsuit against Indiana-based EIDP, Inc., the chemical company historically known as DuPont; its parent, Corteva; and a newly created entity, Vylor. The suit seeks to unwind a coordinated transfer that moved DuPont's most valuable business assets into Vylor and left the PFAS liabilities behind, out of reach of the states and other plaintiffs. On October 1, 2026, DuPont and Corteva transferred the Pioneer seeds business - a major corn and soybean operation - to Vylor. That business was about three-quarters of the value still in the companies. The transfer sends it out of reach of the states and other PFAS plaintiffs, and it was structured so Vylor took the assets and none of the liabilities. Those stayed with DuPont, which kept the lawsuits and gave away most of what plaintiffs could have reached if they win a judgment. The states are asking a Marion County court for a temporary restraining order freezing the assets. The proposed order would stop DuPont and Corteva from using remaining funds for dividends and stock buybacks and stop Vylor from selling or pledging the seeds assets it just received. "Many families have been hurt, and are still being hurt, by these micro chemicals that several companies knew were dangerous, and we will not sit by and let them game the system by moving their most valuable assets out of reach and leaving the PFAS liabilities they created behind," Attorney General Rokita said. "They spent years setting up this transfer to avoid paying for actions that have harmed so many, and this lawsuit is how we stop them from getting away with it." Attorney General Rokita is already in court with these companies. In April 2024, his office sued 22 PFAS manufacturers - including DuPont, EIDP, Corteva, Chemours, and 3M - in Shelby County, alleging they kept selling these chemicals after they knew the risks and hid that knowledge from the public. That case rests on a long record. For decades, DuPont concealed from state regulators, the public, and consumers its growing knowledge of the risks these chemicals posed to human health and the environment, failed to warn, and hid the dangerous nature of the products. Thousands of firefighters and others have made the same claim: DuPont knew or should have known the dangers when it made or sold products containing PFAS. Earlier restructurings, including the Chemours spinoff, already moved value away from those liabilities and were designed to shield assets from judgment. The Vylor transaction continues that pattern, and it is aimed at creditors already in court - including Indiana. If the transfer stands, state taxpayers will be left with the bill: tens of billions of dollars to remove PFAS from drinking water, clean up sources, and compensate the public for the costs and impacts of that chemistry. Read the complaint here and the TRO here. The TRO hearing is set for October 2, 2026, at 9 a.m. ET.

15 state attorneys renew lawsuit on breaking up Corteva.

15 state attorneys renew lawsuit on breaking up Corteva. | Published on: Oct 2, 2026 By Dietrich Knauth, Reuters NEW YORK, NY - Fifteen US states sued agrichemicals company Corteva (CTVA.N), opens new tab on Thursday, alleging â???that the spinoff of its seed and genetics business into Vylor (VYLR.N), opens new tab was designed â???to shield the company's best assets from tens of billions of dollars in potential liabilities tied to PFAS "forever chemicals" that have polluted the environment. Corteva completed the Vylor spinoff into a separate publicly traded company on Thursday. The â???lawsuit, filed in Indiana state court by a bipartisan group of state attorneys general â???and the territory of Guam, alleges that Vylor received the "crown jewels" of Corteva's business without assuming any responsibility for perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination. Corteva, which was formed â???from a corporate merger of Dow Chemical and DuPont, has been named in thousands of â???lawsuits over DuPont's decades-long production and sale of PFAS-containing chemicals. The lawsuits allege that PFAS have polluted the environment and exposed millions of Americans to potential health risks. Corteva said in September that the states' PFAS â???claims are "speculative and unproven," adding that Corteva itself never made or sold PFAS products. When Corteva â???was spun off as an independent company from DuPont, it inherited some responsibility for DuPont's PFAS liabilities. The states â???allege that the Vylor spinoff transferred one of Corteva's most profitable businesses to a new company while leaving PFAS liabilities behind, amounting to an effort to defraud creditors pursuing claims against former DuPont entities. "Companies cannot simply move valuable assets out of reach and leave states, communities and â???taxpayers to deal with â???the liabilities left behind," New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella said Thursday. DuPont launches Sugar Separation Advisor tool to help producers identify chromatography resins

DuPont has launched the Sugar Separation Advisor, an interactive digital tool to help sugar and sweetener manufacturers evaluate chromatographic separation and identify suitable AmberLite resins for testing. The platform draws on decades of chromatography expertise and experimental separation data. Users select their target sugar or sweetener and add up to four additional components representing their feed stream. The tool generates predicted chromatograms and suggests candidate resins for further evaluation. Shane Kendra, Global Market Leader for Food and Beverage and Healthcare at DuPont Water Solutions, said the advisor makes the company's chromatography knowledge more accessible, helping customers focus testing on promising resin candidates. The tool addresses growing demand as producers diversify portfolios to meet consumer trends, covering applications from high-fructose corn syrup to rare sugars and sugar alcohols. It is available through DuPont's Resource Centre Premium.
