Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in business operations, strategy, chief of staff, or similar roles in a high-growth startup, technology company, or consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working directly with data, dashboards, and reporting; SQL is preferred or candidates should be willing to learn it.
  • Experience owning metrics and operating cadence in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong prioritization and judgment in ambiguous, high-change environments.
  • Ability to move across functions and priorities, shifting focus between payer, provider, and member workstreams as business needs change.
  • Experience working across multiple functions and managing cross-functional execution without direct authority.
  • Ability to write clear, structured memos and presentations for senior audiences.
  • Ability to identify problems proactively and maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and remain motivated by outcomes over ownership.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with team leads across payer, provider, and member functions to generate insights on cohorts, trends, and opportunities to reduce churn and improve retention.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform positioning across clinical quality, provider economics, payer relationships, and member experience.
  • Lead deep-dive analyses on strategic and operational questions and translate findings into clear recommendations and priorities.
  • Own analysis of supply and demand dynamics across the payer, provider, and member marketplace, helping shift the organization toward a more predictive model.
  • Support Provider Growth in identifying where to focus onboarding efforts, including geographies and provider profiles.
  • Evaluate new initiatives and clarify what is driving impact across each side of the marketplace.
  • Build and maintain the operating cadence across Member Experience, Provider Growth and Operations, Clinical Operations, and Payer Operations.
  • Own weekly metrics reviews, OKR tracking, and monthly reporting, including dashboards and performance analytics.
  • Surface risks, identify gaps, and drive accountability across cross-functional initiatives.
  • Partner with Product, Payer Operations, and other internal teams to operationalize new features and ensure real-world needs shape product decisions.
  • Act as connective tissue across teams by surfacing insights, resolving misalignment, and helping navigate ambiguity.
  • Own early-stage processes, programs, or capabilities without clear ownership wherever they emerge across the marketplace.
  • Build, test, and scale new initiatives, then transition them to long-term owners.
  • Support hiring and org-building as the team scales.
  • Take on ambiguous, high-priority problems with full ownership.
Desired Qualifications
  • Background in healthcare, marketplace, or operations-heavy environments.
  • Master of Business Administration degree.

Fay Nutrition connects clients with qualified dietitians and nutritionists who accept insurance, making professional nutrition counseling affordable and widely accessible. It partners with insurance companies so sessions can be covered or offered at very low out-of-pocket costs, often around $10 or nothing, instead of the typical $300 per session. The service works through a hybrid model, offering both virtual consultations and in-person visits to accommodate client preferences. It also helps dietitians start or grow private practices by guiding them through insurance credentialing to expand their client base and revenue. Fay’s goal is to democratize access to nutrition care by reducing cost barriers while supporting nutrition professionals in building sustainable practices.
