Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience is required.
  • Must be able to work weekends, with either Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday off.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office systems, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required for business travel by automobile.
  • A valid and active real estate license may be required, subject to state requirements.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
  • Must be able to hear, have sufficient vision to use office equipment, and use hands and fingers to operate standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to travel extensively as required to achieve sales goals.
  • Must have transportation for work that requires driving.
Responsibilities
  • Work at Ashton Woods and, as needed, Starlight Homes sales offices and model homes during designated company hours.
  • Learn and deliver effective sales presentations to prospects in accordance with company standards.
  • Learn and communicate product offerings, building processes, financing plans, and mortgage processes to guide customers.
  • Learn sales agreements and addendums, complete them accurately, and deliver them to customers in a timely manner.
  • Use the customer relationship management and lead system to track homebuyers and meet their needs throughout the sales process.
  • Achieve sales goals and maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.
  • Stay current on community information, including schools, shopping, and recreation areas, and other information requested by customers.
  • Ensure selling materials are well stocked and consistent with company specifications.
  • Place and maintain on-site signage, including home-site, inventory, and open-house signs.
  • Schedule weekly visits with realtors to generate referral sales.
  • Understand competitors’ activities and compare them with Ashton Woods.
  • Prepare accurate competition, sales, and traffic reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A college degree in sales or marketing is preferred.
  • New home sales experience is preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are helpful.
