- Knowledge of medical logistics, Class VIII supply management, and equipment lifecycle support.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in logistics analysis, materiel management, or sustainment support.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense logistics or medical materiel programs.
- Must obtain a Tier 3 Investigation (T3), formerly National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit (NACLC), security clearance.
- Facilitate the delivery of medical sustainment technical guidance to supported units while coordinating with PEO SMD, MED LCMC Logistics Assistance Representatives, local stakeholders, and local support agencies.
- Coordinate equipment repair and return actions between supported units and USAMMA's three Medical Maintenance Depots.
- Analyze and recommend courses of action for medical materiel and equipment procurement strategies and Class VIII resupply requirements.
- Analyze, coordinate, and assist in developing materiel requirement estimates and resource recommendations for projected fielding initiatives, including property reporting, equipment operational status, lifecycle recommendations, materiel disposition instructions, and Class VIII materiel requisition reconciliations.
- Assist PEO SMD Regional Managers with coordinating on-site infrastructure, materiel handling support, and unit synchronization for fielding missions within assigned regional manager/LNO regions.
- Provide liaison support between the PEO SMD FID and gaining Commands for scheduled fielding project requirements, including project definition, facilitation, resource validation, manpower and travel cost estimates, schedule requirements, and synchronization.
- Provide augmented surge support for all requirements.
- Conduct Fault Systems Analysis for identified medical materiel support issues emerging in the field and provide supported problem statements, research, analysis, and course-of-action recommendations for decision support solutions.
- Provide liaison support services between the PEO SMD FID and Army Medical Materiel Centers in support of health logistics support planning for globally deployed supported units.
- Provide liaison support services between the PEO SMD FID and globally located medical contingency support activities and exercises, and support PEO Soldier and PEO SMD experimentation teams as needed.
- Assist in developing, publishing, distributing, and archiving Mission Support Plan agreements and supporting documentation with gaining Commands, supported units, and organizations.
- Provide technical, administrative, editorial, and graphics assistance for special reports, studies, analyses, and briefing papers on process matters related to FID business support operations.
- Provide subject-matter expertise to all echelons on current medical regulations and policy.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
