- A Master's Degree is required for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Candidates must hold a New Jersey license as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse or as a Physician Assistant.
- Candidates must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Provide advanced medical care within a clinical specialty and the scope of education.
- Consult with other members of the health care team to strengthen advanced medical care practice and promote positive patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.
- Serve as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
- Outpatient general neurology experience, including experience with neuropathy and neuromuscular conditions, neuroimmunology, strokes, movement disorders, seizures and epilepsy, and cognitive disorders.
