Requirements
  • Hands-on clinical trial operations experience, such as CRA, site coordinator, CRO project support, sponsor-side trial management, or similar, with fluency to speak credibly with sponsors and sites.
  • Experience supporting patient recruitment, retention, or site support services.
  • Direct sales pitching experience, including presenting services and proposals to clients and closing deals.
  • Account management experience managing and growing client relationships, identifying expansion opportunities, and closing deals in a clinical research context.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with sponsors and clients and translate technical or operational knowledge into client conversations.
  • Written and verbal communication skills for running discovery calls, delivering proposals, and negotiating terms.
  • Ability to independently own an account book and pipeline in an organized and self-motivated manner.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and maintaining clean, consistent data.
Responsibilities
  • Own and nurture a book of assigned accounts as the primary point of contact, building trust and identifying where Trial Library can add value as study needs evolve.
  • Generate opportunities within assigned accounts, including additional studies, expanded scope, and new therapeutic areas, through regular check-ins and relationship-building.
  • Run discovery calls to understand trial needs, patient recruitment challenges, and decision-making processes; qualify opportunities and prioritize the pipeline.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals and pricing that address account study design, therapeutic area, and recruitment and retention goals.
  • Manage relationships through the sales cycle, maintaining momentum through follow-ups, objection handling, and internal coordination through contract execution.
  • Partner with legal and leadership to finalize contract terms and ensure an accurate handoff into onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records of account activity, opportunities, and pipeline for forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Commercial teams and Customer Success to support long-term account retention and growth.
  • Occasionally support broader pipeline efforts by prospecting new clients, sponsors, or CROs through outbound outreach, networking, or referrals.
