Mem-re and Avery partner globally to transform RFID event credentials into digital experience hubs

Mem-re and Avery Products Corporation have announced a global partnership to integrate RFID-enabled event credentials with digital experience platforms. Under the agreement, RFID wristbands, badges, and cards produced by Avery's ID&C and RFID Hotel businesses will integrate with Mem-re's patented platform, transforming traditional access credentials into interactive hubs for guest experiences. The credentials enable users to access personalised content, augmented reality features, merchandise offers, and sponsor activations through a single tap, without requiring an app download. The technology creates connections before, during, and after events. The partnership formalises a relationship tested over the past year at major artist tours and sporting events across the NBA, NHL, and FIFA World Cup. The companies will initially focus on live events, concerts, festivals, sports, and hospitality, with plans to expand into corporate events, theme parks, and travel.

Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions launches training and certification program for Architectural Window Film.

Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions launches training and certification program for Architectural Window Film. Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions has premiered an industry-leading training and certification program for Architectural Window Film installation. The inaugural workshop experience is scheduled for October 21-23, 2026, and is hosted by Wensco at their corporate headquarters located at 5760 Safety Drive NE, Belmont, MI. The two-day training course will help participants master safe, efficient and high-quality installation techniques with hands-on experience, not just theory, so new skills can be applied immediately. For the first time, attendees may extend their two-day training with an optional third day for the certification exam. This program marks the company's first architectural window film certification offering. The certification will empower installers to validate their expertise and stand out in a competitive market. Upon passing, certified installers will earn a badge demonstrating to homeowners, business owners, contractors, building managers and architects that they have successfully completed testing and shown the expertise needed to work with these complex films. To support professional development, Avery Dennison is offering a 20 percent discount for those who bundle the two-day training and the certification exam registration together. Attendees will receive a professional set of application tools and a complimentary 60"x100' roll of film (choice of R Silver 20i, SF Clear 8 mil, or NT PerLite Ceramic 35i), upon course completion. Designed for all skill levels - from those installers new to the trade to seasoned professionals - the program provides the hands-on practice necessary to confidently expand service offerings and potentially take on more profitable jobs. "Our expert-led workshops are designed to support all skill levels. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge, plus learn tips and tricks that distinguish excellent installers," said Graeme McKnight, Marketing Program Associate at Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. The core training curriculum includes: Safety and Security Film Installation Hands-on experience installing 8 mil, 12 mil, and 15 mil safety films. Attendees will learn how each thickness addresses different threat levels - from shatter retention to forced entry protection - and how to select the right film for each application. Attachment Systems for Security Films One of the most critical - and most overlooked - aspects of security film installation is the attachment system. This training provides dedicated hands-on time with attachment systems, so the film performs as intended when it matters most. Solar Film Installation Expanded knowledge of architectural solar films, including reflective, dual-reflective, spectrally selective and neutral options. Participants will learn how to match the right film to different glazing systems and customer needs - a skill that directly improves installs and close rates. Datasheets and Glazing Compatibility Workshop attendees will learn how to read product datasheets and use the Avery Dennison Film-to-Glass Application Chart that protects the vendor, the customer and the warranty on every job.

AD Visi Active Bluetooth Low Energy labels for time-critical logistics tracking.

AD Visi Active Bluetooth Low Energy labels for time-critical logistics tracking. Avery Dennison, a global leader in materials science and digital identification solutions, has introduced AD Visi, a new range of Active Bluetooth(R) Low Energy labels for advanced shipment tracking. The product line expands the company's supply chain visibility portfolio and is designed for time-critical and high-value goods moving through global logistics networks. By combining active BLE technology with label-based identification, AD Visi supports more precise tracking, improved traceability and greater control over sensitive shipments. The AD Visi product line leverages Avery Dennison's specialized inlay design and large-scale manufacturing capabilities. It incorporates low energy consumption chip technology for optimized power use and long read range capabilities, compared to standard Bluetooth(R) wireless technology-enabled chips that are not optimized for ultra-low power use. Printable intelligent labels to improve visibility in a host of supply chain scenarios. Advertisements Active Bluetooth(R) Low Energy labels offer continuous broadcasting, providing live location data, tamper alerts and condition monitoring without the need for manual intervention or specialized scanning infrastructure. By adopting this embedded technology, Avery Dennison is bringing to market one of the first printable intelligent labels of its kind to improve visibility in a host of supply chain scenarios. Engineered to meet industry requirements and standards, the AD Visi product line enhances end-to-end traceability for high-value or sensitive goods, while offering broader applications for sectors needing greater supply chain visibility. The initial product offering, available for order in late 2026, comprises two labels leveraging InPlay's NanoBeacon(TM) chip technology, engineered for ultra-low power consumption and long-range performance: * AD Visi Way, Real-Time Location System (RTLS) tracking, providing continuous location data throughout the supply chain journey; * AD Visi Secure, RTLS tracking with an integrated tamper-evidence loop, delivering time and location-stamped responsibility identification for high-value goods. Both products are powered by thin, non-lithium printed batteries and are wireless activated. At less than 1 mm thickness with a flexible construction, they are designed for straightforward application across parcels, pallets and returnable transport items (RTIs). The labels operate across a temperature range of -30°C to +60°C and offer a reading distance of up to 100 meters. A wider product suite is in development and expected to launch in early 2027. Avery Dennison's 'right tool for the right job' approach is designed to empower clients to choose the right technology based on their specific needs from a cost, data granularity and digital supply chain maturity perspective. In addition to Active Bluetooth(R) Low Energy, the portfolio includes Passive Bluetooth(R) Low Energy, a large-scale, cost-effective solution for long-term deployments. The approach also covers UHF RFID, a foundational, cost-effective technology for mass-scale inventory and item-level supply chain visibility. Intelligent labels, real-time condition monitoring, precise location tracking, data logging. Jason Wu, co-founder and CEO of InPlay, says: "There is significant demand for real-time, long-range visibility and security for critical, high-value assets, which makes our partnership with Avery Dennison so important. We are delighted to work with a world leading intelligent label innovator, unlocking item-level tracking for scalable, cost-effective Active Bluetooth(R) Low Energy deployment." Mathieu De Backer, vice president, Intelligent Labels Innovation at Avery Dennison, adds: "We are excited to further expand our portfolio of digital ID technologies. This important development provides a strategic, flexible solution to help future-proof supply chains. By offering a comprehensive range of intelligent labels capable of real-time condition monitoring, precise location tracking and data logging - all using less materials than traditional trackers - clients can benefit from more advanced, dependable and robust supply chains."
