Requirements
- Solid knowledge of Python and the Django, Django REST framework, and Fabric frameworks.
- A strong grasp of scalability, systems engineering, design patterns, and algorithms.
- Mastery of relational databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL, for high-performance environments.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, including jQuery, Backbone, and RequireJS, plus familiarity with CSS and HTML.
- Experience with cloud-based AWS infrastructure.
- Ability to define and implement software development best practices, including test-driven development.
- A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Computer Science, or strong computer science fundamentals including Java or C++.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product and design teams to understand customer needs, develop solutions, prototype, iterate, and launch frequently.
- Own the systems and applications built by architecting, testing, and refining the Mavrx platform.
- Address a wide variety of technical problems throughout the stack and contribute daily to all parts of the codebase.
- Develop APIs to support ongoing product development and integrations with third parties.
- Analyze and optimize code for efficiency and performance.
