  • A minimum of two years of previous hotel operations or sales experience is required.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Have proficient working knowledge of computers in a Windows environment.
  • Be able to learn and master TripleSeat customer relationship management software, Fosse property management system, and other assigned applications and systems.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage workload efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines determined by customers, the sales team, and leadership.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate sales and customer service skills.
  • Function effectively as part of a team.
  • Set priorities when multiple demands exist.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams across multiple properties.
  • Manage multiple priorities while meeting varying deadlines.
  • Provide service to others and administrative support in a team-oriented environment while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communicate fluently in English verbally and in writing.
  • Regularly walk, stand, and sit for six to eight hours per day.
  • Frequently use hands and arms to reach, carry, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Perform duties in environments with temperature fluctuations and moderate to high noise levels.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and create new contacts and develop sales leads through phone solicitation, prospecting, sales calls, trade shows, and related activities.
  • Respond to sales inquiries and contact potential clients to build and nurture lasting business relationships.
  • Analyze the overall market, including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand, and strategically sell against the competition.
  • Understand hotel amenities, venues, and options and recommend tailored experiences for groups.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly.
  • Create, execute, and support the operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and preparing customer correspondence.
  • Produce quotes and written confirmations for clients.
  • Record appointments, calls made, and business leads accurately and on time.
  • Foster positive and productive relationships with team members across the Lake Nona hotels.
  • Create memorable guest experiences and collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Use knowledge of available services and amenities to help guests feel comfortable and valued.
  • Communicate observations and guest needs to staff and management.
  • Answer telephones and greet guests promptly.
  • Attend meetings assigned by sales leadership.
  • Conduct property site tours that showcase hotel features and tailor benefits to customers’ individual wants and needs.
  • Adapt to changing operational needs and perform other duties assigned by leadership within the scope of the role.

CoralTree Hospitality appoints new CTO.

CoralTree Hospitality appoints new CTO. CoralTree Hospitality has appointed Jeff Knowlton as chief technology officer to lead the company's enterprise technology strategy, digital innovation and systems optimization across its portfolio. Knowlton brings more than 25 years of experience in hospitality and technology leadership, digital transformation, guest-facing platform enhancement and operational system modernization to his new role. He will oversee CoralTree's technology roadmap, focusing on improving guest experience, operational efficiency and scalable infrastructure to support the company's expansion. "Jeff's deep expertise at the intersection of hospitality and technology makes him an exceptional addition to our leadership team," said Tom Luersen, president of CoralTree Hospitality. "As we continue to grow, his vision and leadership will be instrumental in delivering innovative, seamless, and data-driven guest experiences across our portfolio." Before joining CoralTree Hospitality, Knowlton most recently served as chief information officer at Peregrine Hospitality. Prior to that, he served in the same role at Sonesta Hotels International. Knowlton also held technology roles with the Pursuit Collection, Sage Hospitality and Vail Resorts. "I'm thrilled to join CoralTree Hospitality at such an exciting time in its growth," said Knowlton.
