Sherwin-Williams secures $750 million term loan.

Sherwin-Williams secures $750 million term loan. What happened. The Sherwin-Williams Company (NYSE: SHW) signed a Term Loan Credit Agreement dated September 24, 2026. Citibank, N.A. is the Administrative Agent. The New Credit Agreement provides for a $750 million US dollar-denominated senior unsecured term loan that will mature on September 23, 2027. The initial aggregate amount of the Lenders Commitments as of the Closing Date, prior to giving effect to any Borrowings made on the Closing Date, is $750,000,000. Discover more Digital Subscription Service Account Management Tools The Borrower requested the lenders extend credit to enable the Borrower to borrow on the date hereof, a principal amount not in excess of $750,000,000. The agreement says the proceeds are to repay existing indebtedness under the Existing DDTL Credit Facility and for general corporate purposes, including the financing of working capital requirements. The agreement is dated as of September 24, 2026, and the Closing Date is September 24, 2026. That sets the funding timeline the filing gives investors to watch. Key numbers. | Metric | Latest | Change | Source | | Term loan | $750 million | / | SEC 8-K | | Initial aggregate commitments | $750,000,000 | / | SEC 8-K | | Closing Date | September 24, 2026 | / | SEC 8-K | | Maturity | September 23, 2027 | / | SEC 8-K | Why it matters. OptimistFi's case is that Sherwin-Williams turns branded coatings scale, a dense professional/retail distribution network, and pricing power into durable gross margins and strong cash conversion. This filing is mixed because it ties a $750 million term loan to $750,000,000 of initial aggregate commitments and fixes a September 23, 2027 maturity. The comparison matters because the borrowing limit and the commitment base are the same number. The counterargument is that the agreement is a financing step, not evidence of better margins or cash conversion. It does not show an operating gain or a change in the business model the case depends on. The stated use of proceeds matters too, because it points to repayment of existing indebtedness and working capital rather than a new product launch or a one-time item. Investors should treat it as a funding update first and a business update second. What's next. September 23, 2027 is the maturity date named in the agreement. That is the next clear date in the filing. Repayment or refinancing before maturity would make this borrowing less important as a live funding marker. If the loan is still outstanding at maturity, the focus stays on liquidity and refinancing choices. Any later update that changes the debt balance, extends the maturity, or replaces this facility would matter more than the agreement itself. Until then, the filing mainly establishes the size, timing, and stated use of the borrowing. Sherwin-Williams celebrates grand opening of expanded Statesville manufacturing facility. Sep 30, 2026, 16:20 ET Strategic investment strengthens manufacturing capacity, supply chain responsiveness and customer service across North America CLEVELAND, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - The Sherwin-Williams Company (NYSE: SHW) today hosted a ceremonial ribbon-cutting celebrating the grand opening of its expanded architectural paint and coatings manufacturing facility in Statesville, North Carolina. The Statesville manufacturing facility is now Sherwin-Williams largest plant in North America. The expansion represents the culmination of years of planning, construction and collaboration. It strengthens Sherwin-Williams manufacturing, distribution and logistics capabilities, positioning the Company to better serve customers for years to come. With nearly 50,000 square feet of improvements, the facility includes expanded production space, automation enhancements, four new rail spurs and related infrastructure that streamline material handling and improve operational efficiency. This project adds significant manufacturing capacity and enhanced logistics capabilities to support growing customer demand. The site also complements Sherwin-Williams nearby distribution service center, a new hub connecting production, transportation and distribution to the Company's global operations. "This grand opening marks an important milestone for Sherwin-Williams and our Statesville team," said Heidi Petz, Chair, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sherwin-Williams. "With expanded production space, new rail infrastructure and greater automation, this facility gives us more flexibility and efficiency in how we manufacture and move products across our global supply network. It also advances our enterprise priority to strengthen supply chain responsiveness, helping us be an even more dependable and reliable supplier for our customers as we drive long-term growth." This investment reflects the strength of a public-private partnership between Sherwin-Williams and the state of North Carolina, Iredell County and the City of Statesville, which include approved incentives in support of the project. "Sherwin-Williams has been an important part of the Statesville community for more than three decades, and we are proud to celebrate their continued investment in North Carolina," said North Carolina Lt. Governor Rachel Hunt. "This expansion strengthens Statesville's role in advanced manufacturing, supports good jobs and reflects the confidence companies have in our people, infrastructure and business climate." Sherwin-Williams has operated in Statesville since 1993. The site was selected for expansion because of its access to transportation infrastructure, skilled workforce and strategic location within the Company's manufacturing and distribution network. "Projects like this show why Statesville continues to be a strong location for advanced manufacturing," said Statesville Mayor Doug Hendrix. "We are proud to support an expansion that brings together local talent, transportation access and public-private partnership to create lasting value for our community." Several state, county and local public officials joined Sherwin-Williams employees and key project partners in celebrating this milestone event. In addition to Lt. Sherwin-Williams secures $750M term loan to repay existing debt and fund working capital

Travis Kelce's new Ohio house has a history worthy of a Taylor Swift song.

Travis Kelce's new Ohio house has a history worthy of a Taylor Swift song. The century-old mega-mansion boasts plenty of lore and a whole host of dazzling design details 22 September 2026 Does Taylor Swift ever get writer's block? Phāea Cretan Malia may never know, but should she need inspiration, Phāea Cretan Malia has a suggestion for where she should turn: Travis Kelce's new Cleveland-area Gilded Age mansion. Just like Swift's own Rhode Island house - which was the basis for her song The Last Great American Dynasty - her husband's new 21,000-square-foot Tudor-style dwelling is chock full of stories ripe for the telling. The NFL star picked up the residence for $5.35 million this spring, shortly after news broke that he and Swift were seeking a "forever home" in the Cleveland area. Known as Moyenage, the house is "a real testament to a time that doesn't exist anymore," says The Agency Cleveland's David Ayers, who was one of the property's listing agents. Below, Phāea Cretan Malia is unpacking all the rumours about the century-old mansion, from its illustrious list of previous owners to speculations about its history as a Prohibition-era speakeasy. Don't be surprised if you hear these details pop up in a hit song. Two well-known architects worked together on the home. Prominent industrialist Jay Morse commissioned Chicago architect Jarvis Hunt to bring the estate to life in 1902. If his last name sounds familiar, it's because he is the nephew of Richard Morris Hunt, the man responsible for the Biltmore estate. Jarvis was not licensed in Cleveland, so he enlisted Charles Schweinfurth as his partner on the project. Schweinfurth was "one of the most influential architects of Cleveland," says architectural historian Angelina Bair, who researched the house for three years and serves on the board of Western Reserve Architectural Historians. Moyenage has an older sister (and you can live there!). While Moyenage is obviously off the market, its 10,000-square-foot sibling, a Jacobean mansion called the Seven Gable House in Wheaton, Illinois, is up for grabs for $1.75 million. Jarvis Hunt built Seven Gable House for Morse's daughter; he loved the suburban Illinois estate so much that he wanted Moyenage to draw inspiration from it. Both estates divert from the architect's norm, according to Bob Goldborough, a Jarvis Hunt scholar. Hunt generally designed stucco houses, but Moyenage and Seven Gable House are both brick. Get the latest houses and gardens in your inbox. A number of influential businesspeople have called Moyenage home. Just one year after the house was finished, Morse passed away from health complications, leaving the estate to his wife, Seville Morse. The widow was also appointed as a partner at her late husband's iron mining and shipping firm Pickands Mather & Co. "She was a very skilled businessperson," says Thomas Matowitz, architectural historian and board director of Cleveland Architecture Foundation. Seville helmed the company for more than 20 years. She was also a philanthropist. After her death in 1927, she left Cleveland charities $410,000 - almost $8 million in today's dollars. Moyenage's next owner was another industrialist, George Martin, who was eventually appointed president at Sherwin-Williams. When Martin was on the board of the Cleveland Indians (now the Guardians), he was responsible for signing Lou Boudreau, a Hall of Fame shortstop. This manse is subject to the rumour mill. While locals and news reports alike say that the home's third-floor ballroom served as a speakeasy during Prohibition, Matowitz casts doubt upon this theory. Prohibition was in place between 1920 to 1933, which aligns with Seville Morse's and George Martin's residencies - unlikely candidates for bootlegging, per the historian. "I doubt [Seville] was running a liquor establishment, I find that very far-fetched," he says.
