About the job
- Completed degree in business/computer science or engineering, or IT training; alternatively, a comparable qualification gained through relevant professional and project experience.
- Solid knowledge of insurance contract law, damages law, and recovery management.
- Several years of experience handling suspected fraud and recovery cases, ideally involving investigative authorities or compliance interfaces.
- Strong analytical abilities and confident use of data analysis and artificial-intelligence-supported methods for pattern recognition and assessment, with high IT affinity.
- Strong communication skills, confidence in negotiations, and conceptual thinking.
- Good written and spoken German at least at B2–C1 level.
- Prevent and investigate fraud, analyze suspicious claims, investigate fraud patterns, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners from initial indication through assessment.
- Identify recovery potential, analyze recovery patterns, and coordinate enforcement of recovery claims using modern data and artificial-intelligence analyses.
- Provide legal and strategic advice on fraud-prevention and recovery-management matters, and interpret and implement national and international regulations.
- Support operational claims units with professional expertise, develop training formats, and communicate knowledge appropriately to target groups.
- Handle communication and networking, serve as the first point of contact for interfaces, conduct public-relations and committee work, and further develop quality standards and processes for efficient operations.
- Experience handling suspected fraud and recovery cases involving interfaces with investigative authorities or compliance.
