About the Job

Requirements

  • Prior work experience delivering high-impact security tooling, detection logic, or secure software development lifecycle mechanisms in modern cloud environments.
  • Willingness to support information security contexts beyond application security, including cloud security, governance, risk, and compliance, or detection, as priorities evolve.
  • Extensive experience with modern cloud architectures and container ecosystems, including AWS/EKS, GCP/GKE, Istio, and ArgoCD.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese, and ability to explain technical security risks to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance security standards against product velocity and make data-informed trade-off decisions.

  • Familiarity with governance and compliance frameworks, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, LGPD, and GDPR.
  • Prior experience in security engineering is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Own core application security services, security tooling such as SAST/DAST, IAM, and vulnerability management, and detection pipelines end-to-end.
  • Lead post-incident responses and post-mortems, and turn root-cause findings into guardrails, automation, and policy improvements.
  • Drive security-by-design standards across product development by writing RFCs, threat models, and architectural design documents for high-risk projects.
  • Establish and enforce vulnerability remediation service-level agreements and security metrics, using monitoring tools to hold engineering teams accountable.
  • Execute security-critical migrations and platform updates while preserving data integrity and auditability.
  • Partner with Engineering, Legal, and Product teams to deliver medium-to-large security initiatives while maintaining transparency as scope evolves.
