ProCook H1 sales climb 16 per cent as eCommerce gains lead.

ProCook H1 sales climb 16 per cent as eCommerce gains lead. 15th October 2026 ProCook's revenue rose 16.3 per cent to £39.7m in the first half of FY27, with eCommerce growth outpacing retail, according to the kitchenware group's latest trading update. Revenue in the 16 weeks to 11 October was £24.1m, up 13.2 per cent year on year. eCommerce revenue grew 17.9 per cent, while retail revenue increased 10.6 per cent, supported by new store openings. Like-for-like revenue rose 8.3 per cent in H1. eCommerce like-for-like sales grew 21.6 per cent, compared with 0.6 per cent growth in retail. ProCook said hot weather reduced store footfall early in Q2, before trading strengthened in the second half. It reported that it outperformed the UK kitchenware market by 20 percentage points in H1. The group said gross margin and operating costs were in line with expectations and it remained confident of delivering a strong full-year performance in line with market expectations. It said H1 typically accounts for about 40 per cent of full-year revenue, leaving profitability weighted towards H2. Three stores opened during the half. ProCook transferred its Gloucester warehouse to DHL in July and expects to launch Shopify after peak season and before FY27 year-end. Net debt was £3.7m at the half-year, with £12.3m in available liquidity. The company said the position reflected cash generation alongside seasonal stock build and £2.2m of capital expenditure, primarily on new store openings.

ProCook Q2 sales jump 13.2% despite impact of heatwave.

ProCook Q2 sales jump 13.2% despite impact of heatwave. ProCook has seen its second quarter sales jump by 13.2% to £24.1 million despite the impact of this summer's heatwave on trading. In the 16 weeks to 11 October, total like-for-like revenue rose by 6.2%. Retail revenue increased by 10.6% driven by growth from new store openings. Retail like-for-like revenue edged down 0.7%, however, as the hot weather reduced footfall in the first half of the quarter. Meanwhile, ecommerce revenue climbed by 17.9%, primarily driven by continued growth in traffic. The performance meant ProCook delivered record first half revenue of £39.7 million, up 16.3% year-on-year and 8.3% on a like-for-like basis. The retailer opened three new stores in the first half, along with two relocations and two refits. After two store closures, its retail estate stood at 80 stores at the end of the period, 13 of which are now in its new format. ProCook said it is well positioned for the upcoming peak trading period and is confident of delivering a full year performance in line with market expectations. Lee Tappenden, chief executive, said: "Its strategy continues to drive significant market share gains, with trading performance strengthening as Retail Bulletin Limited moved through the second quarter following the extreme heat during the summer, to deliver a record first half trading performance. "Whilst mindful of the unpredictable macro backdrop, we are well positioned for the important peak trading period, with inventory in place across compelling Black Friday and Christmas ranges. We are, therefore, confident in delivering a strong full year performance, in line with market expectations."
