About the company

Swap expands leadership team to scale its next phase of global growth.

Swap expands leadership team to scale its next phase of global growth. New CFO, CTO and SVP of Product join to strengthen Swap's operational scale, product development, and global expansion. Swap, the commerce operating system powering the next generation of agentic commerce, announced three senior leadership appointments: Peter O'Higgins as Chief Financial Officer, Piotr Uryga as Chief Technology Officer, and Krzysztof Marcisz as Senior Vice President of Product. The appointments mark an important step in Swap's continued growth, bringing together leaders with a proven track record of scaling high-growth technology companies through periods of rapid expansion and transformation. The new leaders will oversee three functions central to Swap's next chapter - finance, engineering and product - helping the company strengthen its core e-commerce solution capabilities while continuing to expand agentic commerce offerings. Their focus will be on scaling these functions while ensuring the company is equipped to support an expanding customer base and global footprint. "Swap has reached an important inflection point in its growth, where the opportunity is no longer just to grow the business, but to build the company and infrastructure to support the scale ahead," said Sam Atkinson, CEO and Co-founder of Swap. "Peter, Piotr and Krzysztof bring deep experience building finance, engineering and product organizations through periods of rapid growth and transformation. Their arrival strengthens the foundation we need to serve a rapidly expanding customer base, enter new markets and continue building Swap into a global company." As CFO, O'Higgins will build the financial infrastructure to support the company's continued growth, including strengthening the company's finance operations and planning as it scales across markets and products. Peter was formerly Managing Director for the UK and Europe at Brex, and Revolut's first CFO, helping build the finance function as the company grew from around 40 employees with no revenue to more than 850 employees and a revenue run rate of more than $100 million. Uryga will join as CTO with a focus on scaling Swap's engineering organization and technology infrastructure to support a broader product portfolio and growing global customer base, while building the technical foundation for the company's next phase of product development. He joins from Tripadvisor, where he led more than 300 engineers across Viator and Tripadvisor Experiences, and previously built Qualtrics' European R&D organization from the ground up, growing it to 200+ people through a period of rapid growth. As SVP of Product, Marcisz will shape Swap's product strategy as the company expands its platform and builds new capabilities around agentic commerce, bringing together product, design, research, and data to accelerate product development. Marcisz previously led a 60+ person product, design, research and data science organization for Tripadvisor and Viator Experiences. Before that, he built Qualtrics' European product organization and led the team through the company's $8 billion acquisition by SAP and subsequent public listing. Swap now supports over 1,000 businesses globally, with more than 350 employees across London, New York, Amsterdam and more. This leadership expansion marks the next step in the company's growth, bringing in the experience and expertise needed to scale the business, deepen its product and technology capabilities, and support the growing needs of customers around the world.

Willy Chavarria's Adidas World Cup collection launches exclusively through ai-powered shopping.

Willy Chavarria's Adidas World Cup collection launches exclusively through ai-powered shopping. June 12, 2026 Designer Willy Chavarria aims to give fans a fun, frictionless way to shop his new Adidas World Cup collection through an AI-powered agentic storefront powered by Swap. In simple terms, Swap Storefront is a user-friendly ecommerce infrastructure that gives consumers an easy, interactive way to browse and buy products using AI chat rather than traditional e-commerce. Instead of navigating menus or search bars on a traditional website, shoppers tell an intelligent assistant what products they're interested in, then have the agent find options. The AI agent also offers users personalized recommendations of matching items, builds outfits on a personalized avatar in real-time, and lets them check out seamlessly. The designer's World Cup collection with Adidas - the first major fashion exclusive to launch on the Swap platform - reimagines football-inspired design through a contemporary lens, drawing from the legacy of the Mexican National Team and incorporating Chavarria's personal exploration of identity, heritage, and belonging. "We are excited to be able to bring Willy Chavarria to our customers as the business continues to grow on a global scale," says Chavarria, CEO and creative director. "A key pillar of our brand is the feeling of connectedness with our community, and Swap will change the way consumers around the world are able to interact with us. This level of access reaches areas where we may not have a physical presence yet, and we're grateful to be working with a platform that puts the power of brand experience and client interaction back in our hands rather than diluting or complicating the process." The release reflects a trend among footwear and apparel brands toward AI-powered shopping that feels more experiential and less transactional. Those qualities made the approach a good fit for a launch like Chavarria's latest, which emphasizes community and culture. Since Swap launched Storefront in May, the platform has demonstrated conversion rates twice as strong as traditional ecommerce and seen a 20 percent reduction in returns compared to traditional e-commerce purchases. Swap data suggests that the technology also reduces cart abandonment significantly. "Major drops deserve more than a static product page. We built Swap Storefront for brands that see commerce as an experience, not just a transaction," says Sam Atkinson, co-founder and CEO of Swap. "Willy Chavarria chose Swap Storefront because he wanted a launch experience that felt premium, interactive, and seamless from discovery through checkout. Being selected as the exclusive launch partner for this collaboration is a major milestone for our platform and a strong validation of where online retail is headed."
