- Eligibility to obtain Pharmacy Technician Certification Board technician certification within 18 months is required.
- Computer literacy is required.
- The role requires hearing acuity, visual acuity, and manual dexterity.
- Assist inpatient pharmacists in preparing medications and providing safe and efficient medication management services.
- Perform sterile compounding and non-sterile drug compounding.
- Stock pharmacy inventory, rotate stock, and check for outdates.
- Distribute medications and prepare patient-specific medications.
- Stock and manage inventory for Omnicell automated drug cabinets.
- Prepare emergency drug kits.
- Work one evening shift per week and every third weekend.
- Pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
- Hospital inpatient pharmacy technician experience is strongly preferred.
