Qizilbash said PlayStation Productions was developing the film with Columbia Pictures - Sony Pictures' flagship movie brand, which has already released movies based on Gran Turismo and Uncharted. As well as Gran Turismo and Uncharted, it has produced TV shows based on Twisted Metal and The Last of Us; the second season of the latter will premiere on HBO in April.
