Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing ability is required.
  • Prior experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • The candidate must complete a pre-screen substance test and background check.
  • Experience operating presses, injection molding, or die casting equipment is required.
  • Knowledge of rubber, metal, or plastic molding and casting machines or similar equipment is required.
  • The role may require bending, squatting, kneeling, or standing for long periods.
  • The role may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment used in the production of molded rubber products and regulate molding temperature, volume, pressure, and time.
  • Load, set up, and operate stamping presses to run production and produce quality output.
  • Ensure required safety equipment is supplied properly and set an example by leading.
  • Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to supervisors or maintenance staff immediately.
  • Record machine downtime and assist maintenance personnel during troubleshooting and repair.
  • Understand and demonstrate the mixing process well enough to operate it.
  • Understand production targets, promote their achievement, and document and explain missed targets.
  • Start up and shut down plant equipment, including lights, compressors, and cells.
