About the job

Requirements
  • At least 8 years in a client-facing delivery, engagement management, or consulting role, including experience at a consulting firm or in enterprise professional services or customer success at a technology company.
  • A track record of owning complex, high-stakes client relationships with Fortune 500 or comparable enterprise accounts, from kickoff through steady state and renewal.
  • Experience leading cross-functional pods through influence rather than formal authority and earning trust with technical and operational peers who do not report to you.
  • Ability to operate with executive stakeholders and earn the trust of a client's vice president or C-suite.
  • Strong commercial instincts to spot and shape expansion opportunities in partnership with a commercial or account-management counterpart.
  • Structured problem-solving under ambiguity, including building a plan without waiting for one.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to synthesize broad input, context, and data into a clear narrative for clients and executives.
  • Willingness to be on-site with clients regularly, up to approximately 30% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders through vice president and C-level, building relationships where clients bring their hardest hiring and talent problems.
  • Own the strategic narrative for the account, translating a multi-year transformation into a story that keeps executive stakeholders aligned and moving.
  • Represent Karat with the rigor and polish clients expect from a leading consulting or technology partner.
  • Define the engagement strategy and roadmap, then own execution end-to-end, from statement of work through go-live and steady state, including change management communications, stakeholder alignment, training, resistance management, and adoption measurement.
  • Identify account risk early and give the Client Partner and Karat executives consistent, honest visibility into usage, adoption, satisfaction, and account status.
  • Own relationship mapping across accounts, partner with the Solutions Engineer and Project Manager, and set the standard for how the pod engages with the client: one voice, one plan, and no surprises.
  • Engage internal specialists in workforce transformation, content, product, and data science as needed, folding their input into one coherent client narrative.
  • Surface expansion opportunities, including new teams, interview types, and geographies, to the Client Partner to enable pricing, contracting, and commercial activity.
  • Translate account learnings into feedback and playbooks that improve how Karat delivers to its largest clients.
