Datasite partners with Hebbia to bring AI analysis to live data room documents

Datasite, an M&A infrastructure provider, has partnered with Hebbia, an AI platform for institutional finance. Shared customers can now analyse live Datasite data room content inside Hebbia, without downloading and re-uploading files. Hebbia answers diligence questions with citations to source documents, flags risks and value drivers, and drafts deal materials. Datasite permissions still control what each user can access. Because the tool works on live documents, analysis reflects the latest versions. Users can also combine data room content with a firm's prior deals, public filings, and market data. The integration is available to Hebbia customers with active Datasite projects.

Datasite partners with Hebbia to accelerate AI powered due diligence.

Datasite partners with Hebbia to accelerate AI powered due diligence. Partnership helps deal teams analyze data room documents, verify findings with source citations and create deal materials. MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Datasite, the essential M&A infrastructure that helps companies, investors, and advisors find opportunities, manage transactions, and make better decisions, today announced a partnership with Hebbia, a leading AI platform built for institutional finance. Shared customers can analyze live content in Datasite data rooms from within the Hebbia platform - alongside their firm's internal knowledge, public filings, market data and licensed sources. Hebbia answers diligence questions with citations to source documents, identifies risks and value drivers, and drafts deal materials, all while respecting Datasite permissions. Data rooms are central to most deals, but reviewing and managing their contents can be highly manual. Teams may spend hours downloading and re-uploading documents, lose version control when files change, and search across the room for answers to diligence questions. Datasite and Hebbia remove those steps by working directly on live Datasite content, so analysis starts from the latest documents. With the integration, approved users can select a Datasite project and analyze permissioned deal content natively in Hebbia without manually downloading and re-uploading files. Immediate access to live content provides a continuously current source of truth, preserving version control so analysis reflects the latest available information. Users can answer diligence questions, with citations linking answers back to source documents. Users can also extract key terms, identify risks and value drivers, and create deal materials. Datasite permissions continue to control what each user can access. "Dealmakers need to turn large volumes of information into findings they can verify and act on," said Nicholas Renter, Senior Vice President, Strategic Growth & Partnerships at Datasite. "Our partnership with Hebbia helps teams use data room content to investigate risks, prepare deal materials and bring better-informed analysis to transaction decisions." "A data room holds one part of the picture," said Paul Boland, Head of Content and Partnerships at Hebbia. "Deal teams also need the firm's prior deals, public filings and market data. With Datasite, Hebbia analyzes all of it in one place, and every answer links back to the source document." With Datasite and Hebbia, deal teams can: * Review and screen live data rooms. Analyze documents to identify risks and value drivers, and find gaps that require further diligence. * Verify findings. Follow citations back to source documents to check the evidence behind answers. * Manage diligence questions and requests. Use data room content to support diligence Q&A and request tracking. * Create deal materials. Draft diligence summaries, investment committee memos, confidential information memoranda, buyer materials and request lists. * Build on a broader source of truth. Analyze Datasite content alongside the firm's prior deals and proprietary information, public filings, market data, news and other licensed data sources to inform analysis and company and buyer research. The integration is available to Hebbia customers with active Datasite projects. About Datasite Datasite is the essential infrastructure for M&A. Datasite launches Grata Intelligence and Datasite Connect, backed by $500M AI investment plan

Datasite has launched Grata Intelligence and Datasite Connect, two products that link private-company discovery with live transaction documents so deal teams can use AI across the whole M&A process. Grata Intelligence is an AI workspace for building target lists, reviewing company profiles, and querying data room documents during diligence. Datasite Connect lets authorised users connect an approved third-party or proprietary AI assistant to live deal content. Existing project permissions decide what the AI can retrieve, and full documents stay inside Datasite projects. The launch builds on Datasite's 2025 acquisitions of Grata and Blueflame AI. It also advances CapVest Partners LLP's plan to invest $500 million in Datasite's intelligence solutions. Grata Intelligence is available now. Datasite Connect launches on November 4, 2026.

Datasite partners Rogo on AI deal room integration.

Datasite partners Rogo on AI deal room integration. Thu, 10th Sep 2026 (Today) Datasite has partnered with Rogo to integrate Rogo's AI tools with Datasite data rooms, giving approved deal teams access to live transaction content inside Datasite. The integration is aimed at mergers and acquisitions work, where transaction documents, diligence materials and financial information are often stored in controlled virtual data rooms. Users approved within a Datasite project can use Rogo to query a full project, a folder or a single document without exporting files to another system. Deal teams can therefore use AI tools on material held in a live data room while Datasite's existing permissions continue to determine what each user is allowed to see. Rogo will also show the source behind its answers. Datasite provides software used in private market transactions, including virtual data rooms for M&A. Rogo offers AI software for financial services firms, including investment banks, private equity and credit firms, and asset and wealth managers. The partnership reflects growing demand among advisers and investors to use AI in day-to-day deal work such as document review, drafting internal materials, checking information and monitoring process updates. One challenge is that the relevant material is typically held in secure deal rooms, and moving files outside those systems can create version-control and confidentiality risks. By linking directly to Datasite content, the companies are seeking to keep AI use within the same governed environment as the underlying transaction documents. The connector will be available to Rogo customers with active Datasite projects. Deal workflow The integration is designed to support a range of tasks commonly handled by deal teams. These include reviewing deal documents through natural-language questions, drafting summaries and meeting materials, pulling financial details for models and valuations, and tracking new uploads or open requests in a transaction. In practice, this could allow bankers, lawyers, advisers and investors to use AI to interrogate documents already stored in a transaction workspace rather than creating separate repositories for analysis. It also means any access restrictions set by a seller or administrator remain in place while the documents are queried. The announcement adds Rogo to a broader set of AI links around Datasite's products. Its wider AI ecosystem also includes integrations with Legora and Harvey, which are used in legal and dealmaking workflows. Nicholas Renter, Senior Vice President, Strategic Growth & Partnerships at Datasite, described the tie-up as a way to combine speed with controls around sensitive deal information. "When it's time to make a decision, dealmakers need fast access to the right information, with the security and compliance their transactions require," said Nicholas Renter, Senior Vice President, Strategic Growth & Partnerships at Datasite. "Our partnership with Rogo lets dealmakers apply AI directly to trusted Datasite content - without exporting files or leaving our controlled environment - so they can move faster, close more business and deliver greater impact for their investors." Market push The move comes as software providers serving the M&A market race to embed generative AI into existing deal processes without undermining the confidentiality rules that govern live transactions. For data room operators, that has created pressure to connect their platforms with external AI tools while preserving granular user permissions and audit controls. Rogo said the appeal of the integration lies in giving its users access to the live deal information already inside data rooms rather than relying on separate document transfers. That matters in transactions where new documents, revised figures and updated requests can quickly change the picture. "Data rooms are where deals actually live," said Strib Walker, Head of Product at Rogo. "Partnering with Datasite brings critical deal content into Rogo, so deal teams can run diligence against governed, current deal information in the same environment where the rest of their work already happens." The arrangement is intended for approved users on active projects, indicating that access depends on existing participation in a live transaction. Its central feature is that AI analysis is applied to permissioned content already inside the data room rather than to exported copies of documents. That approach addresses one of the practical issues facing AI adoption in M&A: deal professionals want faster analysis and drafting tools, but they also need to avoid exposing confidential documents or working from stale files. Under the integration, source links and data room permissions remain part of the workflow while teams use AI on current transaction material.
