Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • At least 8-9 years of experience in anti-money laundering, sanctions, financial crime, or compliance governance.
  • Strong knowledge of New York State Department of Financial Services Part 504, Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering requirements, Office of Foreign Assets Control requirements, Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council guidance, and regulatory expectations.
  • Experience leading governance committees, risk programs, regulatory remediation initiatives, or large-scale anti-money laundering transformations.
  • Deep understanding of transaction monitoring and screening governance, testing, and model lifecycle oversight.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders across the First Line of Defense, Second Line of Defense, Technology, Operations, and senior management.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the U.S. Transaction Monitoring and Screening Control Board and associated governance forums.
  • Oversee and maintain technical regulator-ready evidence architecture, including Anti-Money Laundering and Office of Foreign Assets Control program documentation, U.S.-centric Model and Filter Design Documentation, U.S. procedures and local controls, U.S.-centric data management documentation, U.S. transaction-monitoring coverage assessments, and remediation and governance evidence tracking.
  • Coordinate U.S. and global stakeholders to ensure clear accountability, decision rights, and governance records.
  • Oversee remediation plans, issue management, action tracking, and regulatory commitments.
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability between Anti-Money Laundering risks, controls, monitoring scenarios, screening filters, testing, and management reporting.
  • Support regulatory examinations, internal audits, and independent reviews.
  • Drive governance around data ownership, lineage, reconciliation, control testing, and investigative context requirements.
  • Prepare executive reporting and management updates for senior governance committees.

AIB raises $847.5M with tenth green bond amid strong $2.5B demand

AIB has raised €750 million through its tenth green bond issuance. The Irish bank said proceeds will finance projects including renewable energy, green buildings, clean transportation, and waste management whilst strengthening its capital position. Despite global volatility, investor demand reached €2.2 billion, with pricing tightening by 25-30 basis points to a final coupon of 4.125%. Since launching its €30 billion Climate Action Target in 2019, AIB has deployed €26 billion in green and transition lending. Climate and infrastructure capital delivered €1.2 billion in new lending during the first half of 2026, up €600 million. AIB became Ireland's first bank to issue a green bond in 2020 and has since raised €7.2 billion from green bonds, or €8.95 billion including social bonds.

Picnic ties $249M loan costs to 30% organic produce sales growth

Online supermarket Picnic has completed a sustainability framework linked to its existing €220 million revolving credit facility. The financing, provided since 2024 by BNP Paribas, ING, Rabobank, and ABN AMRO, now includes a mechanism where financing costs fluctuate based on Picnic's sustainability performance. Three key performance indicators have been established: reducing greenhouse gas emissions, cutting food waste, and increasing the share of organic fruit and vegetables in sales. Picnic aims for 30% growth in fresh organic produce sales. The company also targets reducing food waste to below 0.5% of all food sold and decreasing Scope 3 emission intensity in line with 1.5°C reduction pathways. Co-founder Michiel Muller said sustainability is embedded in how Picnic works, innovates, and scales. The sustainability-linked loan ties financing costs to achieving predetermined sustainability goals rather than funding specific sustainable projects.

Xylem secures $1.5B revolving credit facility, replacing $1B agreement

Xylem Inc. secured a new five-year senior unsecured revolving credit facility worth up to $1.5 billion on 8 September 2026, replacing its previous $1 billion facility from 2023. The agreement includes an option to expand by an additional $500 million, bringing the potential total to $2 billion, subject to lender approval. The facility is available in US dollars and euros, with interest margins incorporating adjustments based on Xylem's sustainability performance alongside credit-rating-based pricing. Citibank, N.A. serves as administrative agent, with JPMorgan Chase Bank as syndication agent and ING Capital as sustainability structuring agent. The company intends to use the facility for working capital and general corporate purposes. No borrowings were outstanding under the new credit facility at the time of filing.
