About the job

Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in global or regional marketing, including at least 3 years in a managerial and/or leadership role, and a track record of building and leading localization strategies across multiple markets.
  • Deep experience in consumer brands and a strong instinct for brand-building that extends beyond aesthetics into meaning, identity, and cultural relevance.
  • Fluency in data and research, using insights to understand people and shape strategy.
  • Cultural awareness and curiosity, including a genuine interest in subcultures, relationships, and how people connect across different contexts.
  • Experience in market expansion and a thoughtful approach to entering and scaling new regions.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Product, and Data teams.
  • Ability to move between strategic vision and execution while maintaining a high bar for the work.
Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the global localization strategy, including where and how the company shows up across markets.
  • Partner with Data and Research to identify opportunities, set market-level targets, and uncover cultural and behavioral nuances that drive growth.
  • Develop and steer local marketing plans grounded in market-specific insight rather than replication.
  • Drive expansion into new and emerging markets by building entry strategies that prioritize learning, community fit, and long-term potential over short-term scale.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Creative to shape campaigns that build a global brand halo while allowing meaningful local expression.
  • Use local markets to test messaging, positioning, and campaigns, and feed insights into global strategy and creative expression.
  • Build an ongoing understanding of subcultures and communities so the work reflects the audience’s diversity, complexity, and progressiveness.
  • Create feedback loops between markets and brand so local learning informs global brand, product, and growth decisions.
  • Own performance across markets, balancing brand impact with measurable outcomes and sustainable growth.
  • Build and manage a network of local partners, collaborators, and operators to enable high-quality, culturally attuned execution.

About the company

Feeld is a location-based dating app focused on ethical non-monogamy and diverse relationship styles. It helps individuals and couples explore non-traditional relationships by offering a profile-matching experience with advanced identity options and the ability for partners to link their profiles for couple use. The app operates on a freemium model: it’s free to download and use, while a Majestic subscription unlocks features such as seeing who liked you, anonymous browsing, and private photos visible only to connections. This product differentiates itself by supporting a wide range of gender and sexuality options (over 20) and by fostering a sense of community through offline events and a print publication, in addition to the digital platform. Feeld’s goal is to create a safe, mature space for emotionally curious people to connect and explore relationships together, with a focus on inclusivity and international reach.

Feeld dating app faces backlash as membership surges 368% and longtime users lament shift to 'normie hell

Feeld, a dating app launched in 2014 for nontraditional and kink-friendly daters, is facing criticism from longtime users who say it has become overrun with mainstream daters. The platform's membership grew 368 percent from 2021 to 2025, with new users surging nearly 200 percent. Many power users describe the app as "normie hell", complaining it now attracts vanilla daters "using the app as the new Tinder", along with scammers and bots. One Brooklyn user even encountered an ICE agent's profile during a local operation. CEO Ana Kirova maintains the platform's growth reflects broader resonance with its values. On Tuesday, Feeld will launch Reflections, a free 30-minute self-discovery survey measuring users' desires, boundaries and relationship preferences across 165 prompts.
