- Experience managing employees in a manufacturing environment is required.

- English proficiency is required at level 3/5 spoken and written, including basic discussions and providing clear work instructions.
- Autonomy, resourcefulness, teamwork, flexibility, communication, leadership, and collaboration skills are required.
- Ensure established production objectives are achieved under the supervision of the production manager.
- Plan, control, and evaluate production results, and provide employee training when needed.
- Coordinate production processes in accordance with company policies, regulations, and legal obligations.
- Oversee the proper operation of the plant and coordinate production and employees.
- Contribute actively to continuous improvement and achievement of the company's key objectives.
- Manage plant priorities according to the work shift.
- Prepare detailed production reports.
- Maintain production quantity and quality standards.
- Ensure all employees work safely.
- Monitor employee attendance and follow up on absenteeism as needed.
- Participate actively in the disciplinary management process.
- Participate in lockout inspections.
- Participate in the management of hot-work permits.
- Lead daily production meetings.
- Supervise equipment repairs.
- Work closely with the quality department to maintain standards.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Participate in organizing work schedules, including vacations, personal days, and absences.
- Enforce the collective agreement.
- Perform other related duties.
