About the company

Patchwork Health operates in the healthcare staffing industry by offering a digital platform that connects healthcare workers with flexible shifts and helps healthcare organizations manage temporary staffing. How it works: healthcare workers browse and choose available shifts that fit their schedules through the platform, while organizations use built-in tools to forecast staffing needs, assign shifts, and track workforce metrics. The platform handles scheduling, availability, and communications to keep staffing levels safe and efficient. How it differs from competitors: it combines a worker-facing marketplace with organization-facing staffing tools in one system and generates revenue through both subscriptions for access and transaction fees on each booked shift, creating ongoing value for both sides of the market. Its goal is to make temporary staffing easier, faster, and more reliable for healthcare facilities while giving workers flexible, predictable opportunities.
