  • Establish and maintain master program schedules, identify critical path risks, and drive mitigation strategies in collaboration with project teams and partners.
  • Oversee commissioning programs, ensuring appropriate commissioning agent oversight, review of sequence of operations, test script development, and integrated systems testing across all projects.
  • Champion safety and sustainability across East Region and Global construction activities, uphold Apple's EH&S standards, and support Apple's environmental goals on every project.
  • Continuously improve construction delivery methodologies, tools, and workflows, fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, and accountability within the PM team.

Binance's Zhao says $1,999 iPhone Duo will go "unhinged" with crypto traders

Apple released its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, last week. Binance cofounder Changpeng Zhao predicts crypto traders will use it heavily, saying many iPhones will be "unhinged" by "crypto trenchers." The Duo's 7.6-inch inner display is the largest on any iPhone. It makes long-term price charts for assets like Bitcoin, Ether, and XRP easier to read than on a narrow screen. Last month, Zhao shared a screenshot of a BNB/USDT trading pair on Binance and said the "Duo is pretty good for charting." Binance said in June that it has more than 300 million registered users. The 256GB Duo costs $1,999 in the US.

Apple enters smart home with LG and Schneider Electric devices and $299 HomeView display

Apple is expanding into the smart home with the Apple Home Collection, a range of cameras, thermostats, sensors, a video doorbell, and a smart lock made with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric. Products start arriving in December, with more due in early 2027. Apple controls setup, software, AI, privacy, and the Home app, while its partners build the hardware. LG prices start at $199.95 for an interior camera and thermostat, and Schneider Electric sensors start at $39.95. Apple's own $299 HomeView is a seven-inch smart display that uses Siri AI to recognise up to six household members. It goes on sale November 13, against Google's $229 Nest Hub Max. Apple says it keeps camera video and personal data private from itself, LG, and Schneider Electric.
