Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.
  • Knowledge and skill in sterilization and aseptic techniques are preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Calculate, prepare, and deliver human milk and infant formula based upon provider orders for all infants in the Special Care Nursery.
  • Perform inventory and complete temperature and sanitation records and schedules.
  • Operate feeding preparation equipment.
  • Maintain proper sanitation policies and procedures in the Infant Feeding Prep area.
  • Perform quality improvement activities.
Desired Qualifications
  • One year of experience as an Infant Feeding Prep Tech is preferred.
  • Completion of Ohio State University’s Infant Feeding Technician Certification Course within two years of hire is preferred.
