- Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds as needed, reach overhead, pull clothing and luggage from shelves, bend, kneel, or stoop, and stand for long periods.
- Identify customer needs and act as an outfitter by preparing guests for their next adventure through product knowledge.
- Support the Store Manager in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training store staff.
- Support the Store Manager with coaching, developing, and resolving conflicts within the entire team.
- Observe and provide feedback to support staff in a culture of 360-degree communication.
- Manage training plans and provide in-the-moment coaching to drive key performance indicators; understand how employee behaviors link to selling metrics and provide training accordingly.
- Support marketing events and stories through in-store promotion, clientele emails, and community outreach.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintain inventories to ensure availability of merchandise and services.
- Ensure Filson and operating standards are met or exceeded to support brand consistency.
- Provide a safe and clean store environment to protect employees and customers.
- Manage customer service and selling to drive a performance culture.
- Support store operations by enforcing company programs, initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Consistently comply with Time & Attendance policies and all included policies and procedures.
- Consistently comply with Standards of Conduct and Ethics and all included policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
