NCC AB reports $1.7B order intake, up 5%, amid contracting challenges and climate goals

NCC AB reported a strong order intake of SEK14.8 billion in Q1 2026, up 5% year-on-year, with Industry orders rising 17% to SEK4.6 billion. The company achieved stable earnings in its Contracting business with operating profit of SEK177 million despite lower net sales due to phasing out zero-margin mega projects. Property Development remained slow with no profit recognitions from project sales. NCC maintained a low net debt of SEK1.1 billion and proposed a dividend of SEK11 per share, approximately 65% of profit after tax.
