About the job
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant construction health, safety, and environment experience is required.
- An ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor Certificate is required.
- OSHAD registration is required.
- A NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 or equivalent, such as an OTHM Diploma Level 6, is required.
- A NEBOSH qualification is required, such as a NEBOSH Diploma or International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Auditing capability and sound knowledge of ISO 18001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 are required.
- Experience working in the Middle East region is essential.
- Experience auditing construction contractors is required.
- The candidate must be able to establish health, safety, and environment processes and procedures for the safe operation of a construction site.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct inspections and audits to assess site compliance.
- Develop and deliver health, safety, and environment training programs.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and compile reports.
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
- Monitor construction activities to minimize environmental impact.
- Maintain accurate health, safety, and environment records and prepare reports.
- Lead and manage the health, safety, and environment team, providing guidance and feedback.
- The ISO 18001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 auditing qualification is preferably certified by an International Accreditation Body.
