Requirements
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • At least two years of experience working with PEX or a similar proprietary scheduling program.
  • At least two years of experience working with Microsoft Access, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • At least two years of experience working in a squadron, group, and/or wing training or standard evaluation shop, or three years of experience working in a Department of Defense flying squadron, group, and/or wing equivalent training or standard evaluation office.
  • Must possess a Secret Clearance or a previously held Secret Clearance that expired without being revoked.
Responsibilities
  • Update data in PEX or future equivalent systems and locally developed database systems as required.
  • Interface with Aviation Resource Management personnel to update Aviation Resource Management Systems or future equivalent systems.
  • Review and update student and permanent-party records, folders, and grade books according to applicable Air Force Instructions, associated Major Air Command installation supplements, and locally developed guidance.
  • Administer classes and exams and coordinate with scheduling to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for required training, including Crew Resource Management, Instructor Crew Resource Management, Instrument Refresher Course, grounding training, and pre-deployment training.
  • Perform weekly individual gradebook checks of personnel training and ancillary training requirements.
  • Prepare periodic training and testing plans for approval and scheduling.
  • Provide weekly updates to squadron or group leadership on personnel flight and readiness status to facilitate tracking of duty status and performance report and decoration accomplishment.
  • Coordinate with the scheduling office to maximize training opportunities in accordance with unit leadership guidance and applicable Air Force Instructions.
  • Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the unit operations supervisor and weekly summaries for the director of operations or group supervision.
  • Assist in developing new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
  • Generate monthly Aircrew Qualification Level Summary reports, also known as Letter of Xs, and provide in-work and final documents to Wing Current Operations and Wing Standard Evaluation by the last day of each month.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly Ready Aircrew Program reports and inputs for squadron, group, and/or wing leadership.
  • Complete Ready Aircrew Program reporting required by the current tasking message.
  • Generate monthly summaries of aircrew probation and regression status.
  • Maintain accountability and control of flight-testing materials.
  • Coordinate with the training officer to review and update student and permanent-party records, folders, and grade books according to applicable Air Force Instructions, associated Major Air Command and installation supplements, and locally developed guidance.
  • Notify crewmembers, scheduling, and unit leadership of upcoming and overdue testing, evaluations, and training requirements by email, telephone, or in person.
  • Generate Evaluation and Testing Status and Trend Data reports.
  • Provide data to Wing Standard Evaluation for the Standardization Evaluation Board six-month report.
  • Generate AF Form 8, Certification of Aircrew Qualification.
  • Perform testing administrator duties and functions for the unit.
  • Conduct monthly reviews for aircrews entering the first month of the evaluation eligibility period.
  • Interpret Air Force Instructions and provide guidance to personnel assigned to standard evaluation shops to help track squadron personnel training and readiness status.
